How do you replace brake pads on Mitsubishi endeavor?
I'm about to attempt this on a 2005 Endeavor myself today with the info I got here: http:/autorepair.about.com/od/fixityourself/ss/brakepadreplace.htm
It has simple explanations and photos. I will write back to let you know how it goes!
Just finished. By using the guidelines from the web page listed above, the front brakes were a breeze! The rear brakes, on the other hand, are set up different than the front. I think if you're confident enough and are mechanically inclined, you can figure it out fairly easily. I took my time, and am quite confident with my work. The website above also mentioned taking pictures with a digital camera to make sure everything goes back in it's right place. I did this for the first set of brakes I did, and it helped a lot. Good Luck!

How do you replace the headlight bulb located on a 1998 Mercedes c230?
Remove the plastic access panel by pressing down on the tab at the top of the penel and pulling the top of the panel towards the engine and off. Needle nose pliers may help with the next steps to remove the spring clips. There are 2 bulbs, the top large bulb is the low beam. To remove it, first remove the socket attached to it, then press the top of the metal spring clip towards the front of the car and towards the passenger side (look closely at the clip to see the latch holding it. The clip then swings back towards the engine. Remove the old bulb, install the new bulb, replace the spring clip, re-connect the socket. (Don't touch the bulb, if you do clean it off with a lint free cloth and alcohol). To replace the lower bulb (parking light), remove the socket, then release the lower end of the spring clip, look closely and you'll see the latch holding it. You have to press it towards the front of the car and swing it towards the passenger side. It will swing up and release the bulb. Replace with new bulb, replace spring clip, connect socket. Don't forget to replace the plastic cover panel by inserting the bottom tabs into the sockets and snapping it closed at the top by pressing it towards the front of the car. Open up the hood, and go in behind the fixture where the light is located. Sometimes there is an access panel on top. Open it and reach down inside and grab the bulb's socket. Twist the socket a quarter turn counter clockwise, and pull out the socket. Grab the bulb, and pull it straight out. To replace the new bulb, never touch it with your bare fingers, as this will greatly shorten the bulb's life, if it even work's at all. Use a tissue or something else in that order to handle the new bulb. Push the new bulb into the socket, put the socket back into the housing, and twist a quarter turn clockwise to secure the socket into the fixture.
Addendum: Make sure NOT to completely remove the metal latch holding the socket and light in the hole; just unlatch it and swing it back. If the two prongs at the bottom come out of their holes it is difficult to get them back in, especially with the extremely limited space in that location.
You have lost your keys for frontera sport where can you find any nos to get spare 1 made?
key numbers for the vehicle are often recorded in the service book or on a small white card with the vehicle handbook pack, if not the original supplying dealer may have a record, if that fails a dealer can apply to the manufacturer for the key number, before a dealer gives out a key number they SHOULD ask you for proof of identity and proof of ownership. this is also assuming that the locks have not been changed during the life of the vehicle, robb
Where is 1999 ford contour air conditioning low pressure switch located?
Should be on top of the drier/accumulator at passenger side against the firewall ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Actually, it's in the low pressure line to the compressor. It's located just behind the car's radiator, on the top left. It's covered with a small black plastic cap that screws off. Don't confuse it with the high pressure port: that one is on top of a tube to the right of the radiator. The low pressure service hose won't connect to the high pressure port unless you really force it, so if your service adaptor doesn't fit the port easily, you're probably on the wrong one!

What oil should you use for a volkswagen golf diesel?
I have been told to use synthetics because of the turbo, but it seems that the slipperiness of the synthetic seems to cause some leakage from my 2002 TDI Golf's oil cap, that did not occur before. I have found regular changes at regular intervals with regular 10-30 weight oil have created 90k trouble free miles. I thought about trying a blend but it doesn't seem worth it...
Where is the engine coolant temperature sensor on a 1992 Dodge Colt?
Located on the bottom left side of the radiator, next to the lower hose. There are several sensors on the 1.5 liter. The engine coolant temperature sensor you're referring to (I think) is located in the intake manifold, at the left hand side of the head. I always get the guage sender and this coolant sensor confused, they are adjacent to each other. Unplug one then check your guage when engine is hot, this will cause the guage to fail to register a temp, and you can identify the proper sensor.

Depend on what kind of a gearbox it is.
But normal 5 speed or 4 speed is like this.
You need to loosen the clutch wire first.
Then remove the bolts for the driveshafts if you what them out with..its easier that way:)
Then loosen the bolts going thru the starter.
And then the bolts around the gearbox housing..should be 3-4 18-19mm bolts.
Then a few smaller bolts i between the big once.
There is also a metal arm from the gearbox where the negative from the battery are fixed.
There should 2pcs 13mm bolts...you should really also search for vw golf mk2 gearbox change on youtube if you what a more complex answer.

Does a vw golf 4motion 2.8 have a clutch cable or is it hydrolick?
Hydraulic .. be sure to keep the level correct , but you should not need to keep topping up if all is OK
Most likely the engine is worn out. Combustion gasses will leak past worn piston rings ( blow-by) into the crankcase. The hose is the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) hose and is designed to vent a certain amount of these gasses back through the engine. Sounds like there's just too much leakage for the system to handle now.
AnswerA small amount of oil leaking back up the tube isn't abnormal, but if you have a considerable amount, make sure the PVC valve and hose are completely clear and working properly. What should the engine temperature be on a 1.0L polo on a 1997 when the engine is warm?
Generally when your engine is up to temperature the needle should sit in the middle of the gauge. If your getting an abnormal engine temperature reading check the engine coolant level and thermostat. Also if the fan isn't engaging the engine could overheat (if you drive round in heavy city traffic and you cant hear the fan kicking in this could be the reason for the abnormal reading.
when i first got my polo (2000 model) the temperature reading would read normal but would suddenly drop down to zero, changing the temperature sensor in the engine remedied this.
hope this helps!
I agree this is correct, In addition to what he saidyou can also check the main hose of the radiator - the hose going toward the radiator. If you feel to much pressure even if you just drove for 10mins on average weather then radiator must be clogged and needs to be cleaned
