Two basic ways: aerodynamic or small. Aerodynamic means the car doesn't push against the air as much, meaning it can slice through the wind easier. Making a car lighter and smaller means it doesn't need as much power, so you can reduce the size of the engine.
When the AC won't kick on where do you first look?
Fuse, low refrigerant, bad compressor clutch, or relay.
Do the lights come on? Do you have correct operating voltage? What type of car is it? Does the car crank but not start? Do the error lights come on and dim while in the start position? This is a common problem with Montana vans. Its usually bad wire which runs under the front passenger side carpet.
Check the other lock switch and see if it works. If it does you have a bad switch and it needs to be replaced. If neither one works you may have to take it to a dealer
Don't take it to the dealer! This is EASY! I just finished fixing mine. The remote worked fine, the key worked fine, but the switches did not, and I wasn't about to fork out dough for a switch I didn't need. Pull off the sill plate on the passenger side, and the kick panel. Pull up the carpet toward the middle of the van, and have someone hold it there. You will have to unravel a bunch of electrical tape from the harness. There are two wires (one white, one blue) that have connectors that go from one wire each to two wires each. Cut these connectors off and replace them with a new good piece of wire, about 5 inches long. Solder if possible, tape them up or better still use shrink wrap if possible. Tape up the harness, and put the carpet, kick panel and sill plate back in. Total time 15 minutes.
Often the order of the fuses will be listed on the inside of the cover for the fuse box.

How do you change the bulb for the license plate on a 2000 Pontiac Gran Prix?
Remove the two screws that hold the cover plate on to the bumper recess and remove the plate. If no cover plate is there, then loosen the screws only. After the plate is removed or the screws loosened what ever you may have on your vehicle just move the housing around the edge of the license plate recess. Turn the bulb assembly 1/4 of a turn counter-clockwise and the bulb housing will come out of the plastic casing. Exchange bulb and reinstall the opposite way.
Why is brass widely used to make the oval key turn cylinders of door locks?
It is cheaper and easy to mold.
Why do the Dashboard lights stay on after the key is removed from a 2002 volkswagen jetta?
Have not tried any trouble shooting other than making sure the car would start. Backed it out of the garage & drove a few feet before parking again in driveway. Have not driven further than that since Wed PM & I am fairly sure that all lights turned off when I parked it then. Just noticed that they were on last night.
Yes. That smell is the coolant being blown into the air ducts. You might also notice a slimy film on the the glass that is very difficult to clean.

Where is the diagnostic port on a 1997 Hyundai Accent?
above your rear foglight switchgear panel..
I am working on a 1997 Hyundai Accent at the moment. The connector for the OBDII is located on the left side of the dash.
It is tough to see because it is facing down... recessed inside the cutout for the foglamps... at the top.
it just means the fluid is cold or frozen let the motor warm up a little and it'll stop.
Where is the temperature sensor on a 1992 Lexus ES300?

Hope this helps.
take off the dash then you need to unscrew the CD player and pull out the wire. (make sure that you have the harness for the new CD player and for the car.) splice the old wires and reatach them with the new harness wires,(they should be color coded and matched) then plug the new car adapter harness into the harness for the CD player. After all that, plug your antenna adapter into the back of the CD player and then screw everything back in. Note that you might need the dash installation kit, because usually the CD players are smaller than the stock players. -Shocker
Congratulations - you have a short in the electronic locking mechanism. Probably also causing your interior lights to stay on and problems with the alarm? Good luck - my VW dealer in Richmond, VA took three tries to get this repair right, but then again they are morons.
AnswerI just received a new latch and am going to see if that fixes things. My alarm doesn't give the 'armed' sound if the deck isnt' latched but my interior lights are not stuck on (at least). AnswerHey, let me in on this one! I have an 2001.5 GLX with the same issue. I am starting to hear that beep in my dreams now! Add in the fog lights that decided to stop working, the high price of gas and now the trunk! But I still love it regardless, so has anyone had any luck with fixing this? Thanks! AnswerHi. I had this thing driving me insane as well. I found on mine that it was the rear load cover that was not allowing the door to shut and grab the second stage of the locking catch. With the load cover still in place, but turning the handle-flap down towards the floor, it now shuts properly (with a nice clunk sound) and the alarm doesn't go off at all. Hope this helps... AnswerHere's how I fixed mine:This sounds more complicated than it really is. Toughest part was finding a small enough rubber-band :-).
