you are not supposed to, depending on how many miles are on the rest of the tires they must all be replaced. In order to replace just one the new one must be within 1/32 to 3/32 of the other tires

usually because your WHEEL WELL is ripped apart and water is allowed to ricochet up into the breather tube of the blinker assembly. same happening with my better half's VW.

The V6 Mustangs were not offered from the factory with a limited slip rear differential. That option was for the V8 models. That's not to say you or someone else couldn't install one. Chock the front tires to prevent rolling, jack up the rear of the car so both back tires are off the ground. Put the car in Nuetral and spin one of the rear wheels. If the other tire spins the same direction, you have traction-loc or limited slip. If it spins opposite, you don't.

First check for the location of the spark plugs. Make sure to use a spark plug socket when you do. It is different form a normal socket. It has a rubber protector inside the socket to protect against breaking the plug. GM cars. some of them you have to take the wheel off to get to the spark plug. I don't know what ----. figured that little gem out. They should be shoot. Make sure to get the right plugs to replace them. Check the plug gap for the correct amount. Don't believe in the thought that they are set from the factory. Check it yourself to make sure. Before replace the spark plug wires make sure to clean the inside of the contacts at the end of the wire. hope it helps, duboff

If you're driving a manual, it means that you've stalled out. Turn off the car and restart.

You take it to the shop. It CAN be done in a home shop, but it is HUGELY time consuming and is not a job for the average person in their driveway. If you wanna try though, 1) remove engine cover. 2) partially drain coolant and remove coolant reservoir (mark all the vacuum hoses) 3) remove fuel lines from the fuel distribution block/leak detection pump. 4) remove sparkplugs and drivebelt 5) remove upper timing belt cover (it has the enging info sticker on it) 6) jack up right front of car and support on jack stands, remove front wheel. 7) remove lower fender apron 8) Rotate the engine until piston 1 is at Top Dead Center. Verify that the camshaft sprocket mark is aligned witht he mark on the rear timing belt cover. 9) losen the crackshaft drive sporcket bolt and the pulley bolts. (you may have to use a strap wrench to keep the crackshft from ratating witht he wrench) 10 Make sure that the number 1 piston is still at top dead center. 11 Support the engine on a piece of wood and remove the right engine mount and engine moutn support bracket 12 remove lower timing belt cover 13 release the timing belt tensioner 14 remove the timing belt 15 Inspect the camshaft sprocket for damage 16 inspect belt for contamination by coolant or oil. If found locate and fix source of leak 17 Inspect the tensioner and idler pulleys for damage or wear replace if necessary. Ok there are about 20 more step to put it back in and I am getting bored. a Haynes manual gives a step-by-step with photos and illustrations. I woudl also recommend that, while you are there, you also replace the water pump. the factory pump was plastic and the fins have likely broken off. Replace with a metal aftermarket pump. Don't be afraid to spend a little money on a good pump and a good belt. The cost of the labor to replace the them far far outweighs the actual cost of the part.

There is a clip on the assembly inside the engine compartment - undo the clip and there is a tab that you push up and you should be able to feel the assembly move - sometimes you have to pry the outside of the headlight with a screwdriver and the whole thing slides out.

Unplug the harness and open the back plastice and the bulb is there.

hi the firing order is 1-4-3-2. If you are sitting in the car #1 cyl is on the right side in the front (flywheel side) #2 is on the right, in rear (pulley side) #3 is on the left side in the front (flywheel side) #4 lis on eft side in rear (pulley side) the cylinder numbers should be stamped in the sheet metal above each sparkplug

Was an easy one in the end! The flasher unit is built into the Hazard Warning Light button. Just behind the push in part of the button, underneath is a bit where you can lever the entire switch out. Once removed, a new one can be slotted into place.

My 91 has no governer, it will BURY the speedometer needle beyond 160km/h (100mph) down to where the shift indicator is! Try it at your own risk.... my 94 has no governer either and it tops out the speedometer (100mph) at 3000 rpms and from there i can get the rpms to about 4300 to 4500 on flat open highway.

There is no clutch cable in 93 Mercury Capri. Its operated by hydraulics. There is a clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder. the seal in it probably worn out. Not very hard to work with.

2000 vw beetle battery drain, just charged battery & started car, after shut down could hear elect motor sound from engine compartment. Opened fuse box above battery & pulled the fuse on the left side looking from front of car & elect motor sound stopped. What does this fuse control?

You need to be seated behind the front seat, move the adjustment leaver to move the seat forward in upwards position, and slide forward. For the back seat lift the bottom seat out, and you'll find two bolts holding the back rest in place. Undo them and your sorted.
