How do you replace the head gasket located on a 1994 Toyota Tercel?
If I were you I would take the head over to a machine shop. Have them check the head for valve wear cam wear rocker arm wear valve guides and valve stems seals in other words rebuild the head. They should also check the deck for flatness. If you were to put the head back on the engine and the flatness ex cease the tolerance allowed you could blow the head gasket. Keep in mind the head is aluminum on a cast iron block. I am sure the head has moved.

Where is the flasher in a '94 Chevy Cavalier?
Hey Linda==Look at the left side of the steering column under the dash. GoodluckJoe - If you are sitting in the drivers seat it is to the right of
the steering column, if you are on the floor looking up, it is on the left.
You need to remove the plastic panel (three screws) and look to the right of the column all the way to the right where you removed the panel. Sometimes the clip that holds the flasher jiggles loose from the dash and the circuit is incomplete. It must be reattached to a metal portion of the dash. You may not need a new flasher. miramesares
If you're looking for the hazard light flasher it's located to the bottom left of the floor of the driver's side (to the left of the brake pedal). If you're looking for the signal light flasher it's right near the steering column. It's a little harder to find but it is there. .
You'll need a 10mm short socket or ratcheting wrench(ideal because of small space) and a 6mm socket(use an extension here to save your back). Remove the plastic panel covering the base of the steering column (3 x 6mm hex screws w/washers, left, center and right). Don't confuse this with the small plastic box immediately around the base of the steering wheel. Remove the plastic panel carefully so as not to break off the retaining tabs toward the top. On the right near the base of the exposed steering column you should see a silver electrical box about the size of a box of matches with a wire plugged into the high end. There are 2 10mm hex screws holding it to the frame. Remove them and move the box out of the way. Avoid unplugging the wires. Lie on your back and look up into the area near the column and locate the flasher. It should be on the left up high as viewed from this position. There is a retaining clip that holds it in place. Slide it off the metal tab and it should be easier to fish it out. Replace the flasher and then reverse the procedure used to get at it. Some engineer had fun creating this configuration!! Allow an hour.

Get a LONG, skinny funnel, the aporpaite fluid type, and reach in (while the engine is cool) towards the right side of the engine, next to the battery. There is the transmission tank. There is no dipstick, be aware.
Yes, I found the red cap and looked in. I saw no fluid. I put two quarts and now see a little "spurting". Does the transmission take 5 quarts?
Does oil in your raidator mean it is bad?
Possibly from the trany cooler located in the lower rad tank. This will destroy a trany in a short period of time if coolant gets in the trany
How do you fix a broken gas gauge on your 94 Sunbird reads full all the time?
If The Guage reads full all the time, chances are that it is toast. You'll have to replace the Gas Guage with a factory or aftermarket replacement. Auto Wreckers often provide a cheaper alternative, if you don't want top buy new. Honestly.......Give your gas tank a kick! The float in the tank might free up for awhile.
MY 94 3.1 V6 HAD THAT PROBLEM THE DIFF WAS THAT IT READ ONLY UP TO A HALF OF TANK. WHAT FIX IT WAS IN THE BACK OF THE TANK THERE ARE TWO PLUGS PULL BOTH OF THEM OUT THEN SWITCH THE KEY TO ON YOU WILL NOTICE THAT IT WON'T READ GOOD OK THEN BACK TO THE PLUGS AND PUT THEM BACK IN. TURN THE SWITCH ON MORE TIME AND THAT WORK FOR ME.... HOPE IT HELPED
Usually anytime gages or lights act funny meaning they are just not going on or off which would be a powerloss, clean and simple. When you have bad or missing ground wire connections, what you get are under-powered dash lights, head lights, parking lights, and gages that look like theyre at the disco dancing to the wrong beat. This means that the components w/ bad grounds have to ground through different methods i.e... through metal chassis contact or worst of all grounding through a circuit that its not supposed to. That is why you have several indictions whichever circuit has a bad ground it is affecting the nearest circuit by grounding through it which scrambles and fights the energy in the other circuit creating your haywire symptoms. Best thing to do is identify your ground circuits and make sure the connections are good. Sometimes adding extra grounds could be your only solution to what can become a big headache. You'll need a wiring schematic and some basic knowledge of how electricity works. I suggest first some elematary reading on simple ciruits and electrical trouble-shooting before attemping repairs, This stuff is in most vehicle repair manuals, but for the most part bad connections are visible once you find the start and end of the circuit it can be pretty obvious. loose screw or bolt, loose terminal connection, or a hard overheated wire that acts more like resistor (like a dam restricting flow of electrons). Electrons flow like water, kink the pipe and u get less water same with electricity. Hope this helps to get You started on becoming aleast a little more knowledgeable when dealing with electrical issues. Tired connections and wiring are always an issue in older vehicles. Learning how to remedy simple wiring problmes is a must. Unless your vehicle has had electrical fires or severe short circuits what you are dealing with are fatigue induced problems. Age in another word.
No, You don't put anything on Head, Exahust or intake gaskets. CJ
actually you do put a 1/8'th inch bead of black silicone on the gasket to ensure no leaks occur and it also helps hold the gasket in place when your putting the intake manifold on. I'm a ford master technician, you ALWAYS use silicone when replacing intake and head gaskets.

Does a 1998 Chevy cavalier have a fuse for the dashboard lights?

When an AC cools the air, moisture from the air condenses on the cold evaporator coils. That condensate drips from the coils to a catch pan and drips out the bottom through a specially designed drip tube. If the air is too dry to give up any moisture to condensation you MAY not see any condensate drip out of the AC. If the air comming out of the AC in your vehicle is comfortable, don't worry about the condensate.
How many 1989 Pontiac turbo trans ams were made?
00000000000000000000 never mad a single turbo trans am
WRONG....They absolutely did make them. They were the same engine as the Buick GN. There were 1555 made from what I can find. There of course, were also the 80-81 Turbo T/A. So proclaiming there were never any turbo T/As made shows your ignorance. Perhaps you should know what you are talking about before so absolutely claiming what you obviously have no clue about.
How do you replace the head gasket located on a 1991 Ford Tempo?

How do you replace the rear speakers in a Chrysler Concorde?
There are two bolts at the bottom of the back seat by the floor.......then you remove seat and take out the two bolts for the upper back seat and then you remove the back dash to get to the speakers! hope this helps
Likely causes are the fuel system, or the ignition coil. Start by testing the fuel pressure, if you are injected, the pressure should be around 39psi, if not check the fuel filter, then the fuel pump and finally the fuel pressure regulator. Next try replacing the ignition coil. Good luck; Phill Truthfully there are many things that can be wrong. You need to narrow it down, because you are either loosing fuel supply, fuel injector pulse, or ignition spark. You need to make it act up, and check for spark. If you have spark, you know it is fuel. If you have no spark, you know it is ignition. If it is spark, you may have a faulty ignition module, pickup coil(stator), or ignition coil. If it is fuel, you may have a faulty fuel pump, PCM, PCM relay, fuel pump relay, or I have even seen a bad PCM ground at the battery cause this. The PCM ground wire is the small ground wire coming off of the battery ground. I hope this helps, but I can say that the most common problems with this car are: Number 1-fuel pump, Number 2- ignition module, coil, and stator, and Number 3- PCM ground wire.
