Rust is actually a chemical reaction between the iron found in metals and the oxygen found in water. If you have an older tub, the rust forming at the bottom of the bathtub could be caused by the iron found in the drain cover. However, since most sinks and tubs nowadays have rustproof drain covers, it could be your water that's causing the rust instead.

How do you replace the inside drivers door handle on a 97 Chevy truck?
I don't know if you asked this in another question that I just answered but here is what I wrote "Need a rivet gun and rivets. Remove inside door panel...(need to remove a few screws. Panel is attached by plastic rivets so pull hard but gentle. Start from bottom and work around and up. Then slide it up to remove. I don't know if your door will have it but you might need to remove a metal plate (hexscrews) Now it gets a little tricky to explain. You'll see a thin metal wire attached to the door handle with a plastic lock nut (needle nose pliers to remove. You might also need a drill to drill out the rivets holding the handle. Reattach the handle to the wire BEFORE replacing the rivets. Then work yourself back to installing the door panel.I just did this a few weeks ago with power locks and windows.
It souns like a bad seal/gasket around your windsheild. you might have to go to the auto glass place and have them reseal you window, before rust starts---- if you have water in your trunk that might be the inner seal or a wheel well has some rust holes that cause water to get in ,,pull up the rug and look for cracks in the seams and up and around in the wheel wells. clean the mole with bleach. hope something works for ya sandi MN
Realignment means the switching of voter preference from one party to another

It maintains the door position when you leave it ajar.
How much does a auto collision repair tech make?
It varies widely, depending upon several things. Your ability, the business you work for, whether you do insurance work or cash only, the area you work in. In my experience, ( southeast Michigan) I was able to make 50 to 60 thousand yearly. I always did insurance work at reputable shops. Frame repair and paint are the specialties that will make you the most money. It is getting increasingly difficult to make this kind of money, as the insurance companies are continually cutting repair times ( you will be working for flat rate, like a mechanic).
How do you remove the shifting knob on a 1995 Saturn?
everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and a professional shop manual should be available at the library in the reference section--you can make copies of the necessary information...good luck :) It sounds way to easy to be true, but you just need to pull straight up, it does not twist off. Took me over an hour and a torn up shifter knob to figure that one out.
If your rag top came loose from the back window do you use glue or what else can you do to fix it?
You can try glue, but you're much better off using a special adhesive. Some are spray, some are painted on. Places such as autozone, advance auto parts, or napa should be able to give you a suggestion as per the specific type. There's many kinds, so make sure you get the right one. Worst case scenario if it's a plastic back window it may need to be sewn back together.
How do you get the trim to stay on the sides of the cars?
Most trim is held on with double sided tape. Clean the old adhesive off the the back of the molding and the area of the car where the trim goes. Go to autoparts or paint supply place and get 3M double sided tape. It comes in several widths. Get the one that fits closest to the one you need. Clean the area of the car with some clean rubbing alcohol. Then reatach the molding to the car. Hope this helps.
