P0603 Internal control module keep alive memory FOR POWERSTROKE DIESEL?
I had a similar problem a few days ago. I had to replace my inline fuel pump located on the frame, below where the driver sits. I then replaced my fuel filter and air filter. it still shook horribly. Just keep driving it to get all the air out. Also check for water in the fuel. Coincindentally i was getting a P0603 code along with a battery light. I had a bad alternator. Go to a real mech shop for a diagnosis. _zone said my alt was good when it was really bad. Good Luck
i had a similar problem at one point. its the air fuel mixture most likely. if the car warms up before the problem begins, it means the problem is most likely electrical. check your MAF sesor (mass air flow) and also potentially fuel pump
What would make a car shakes between 40 and 60 miles per hour only during acceleration?
The inner front driveshaft joints are seizing (one or both). No real way of telling which one unless there in external boot damage. Flip a coin or be prepared to possibly replace both driveshafts with rebuilds.
You probably have bad motor mounts. That's what I've read in other Acura forums
1994 Ford Taurus front end makes noise and steering wheel shakes?
Most time the tires are out of balance but you can also have worn out and loose suspension parts. Don't mess with waiting on something to break so you can find the problem. You might not be around to repair it. You have to jack the car up a little to inspect the ball joint and tie rod ends for being loose or defective with too much play or wear. You or your buddy has to move the steering wheel back and forth 3-6 inches while the other is under the front end with a flashlight looking for a ball joints and tie rods that move but the attached bar does not move exactly at the same time. Borrow a manual from your local library and learn a bit about checking out this problem. lol
Why does the front end of your car shake while accelerating in first gear?
If it is a manual transmission I would suspect you have clutch problems. Possibly gear lube or hydraulic clutch fluid has leaked onto the clutch surface. The only repair is to replace the clutch and repair the leak. When you let the clutch out this causes the clutch to chatter thus causing the shaking.
What happens when your steering wheel is vibrating during driving at any speed?
If it only vibrates while moving, at any speed, it's probably a bent rim. If it only vibrates at highway speed it is a tire chrachteristic called "Radial First Harmonic" and might be improved with dynamic balancing. The tire shop needs to move weights on the rim. If it only vibrates at higher speeds, like 40 mph and above, it's probably the static balance and the tire shop needs to move weights on the rim. If it vibrates all the time, even when stopped, it's probably a four cylinder economy car and you are a cheap ass.
I have a similar noise, almost like a dragging sound or like the tires are over-inflated. When I was washing the car I noticed the entire plastic wheel well on the dirver side was missing. It apparently got ripped right off by something kicked up on the road. I think the noise is simply normal tire sound that is not being blocked out because of the missing plastic. Could be a few things: 1) If the noise goes away after driving a bit, it's just dirt or rust on your pads/rotors. 2) If the noise gets higher when applying your brake, it means your pads are worn. 3) If the noise persists at higher speeds, it could be a pebble or something lodged between your pads and rotor. Or it can be the metal dust flap touching the rotor. If problem persists, you should take it to a mechanic.
If your car pulls to the right and steering wheel shakes at low and high speeds what should you do?
go get 2 new tires and have the alignment checked on it
shaking is generally caused by out of balance wheels and tires, not by alignment alignment will cause your car not to run true, and your tires to wear uneven any tire place will check and balance your tires.just go to a good tire place Sounds like your alignment is off this shouldent cost you a lot to fix. (the guy who replaced your rear tires should do it for free considering)
Be sure to have a different mechanic check things out.
you might try having all wheels balanced before you buy new tires.go to a reputable tire shop and they will do the job right. If your OLD rear tires were moved to the front or they are the NEW tires, your FRONT tires are probably out of balance or the rim (wheel) is bent. Take it back to the tire store and see if they'll balance the tires for you, that should take away the vibration. Alignment can cause pulling or rapid tire wear, but it doesn't cause vibration. Also have the tire store check out the suspension. See if there are loose parts. If there are loose parts or if the vehicle needs alignment, DON'T have the tire store do it for you! Ask around, see where body shops, dealers and other mechanics send their work for alignment. If they do it themselves, don't bother. If you can find a place in your area that seems to contract all of the alignment... that's the place to go. Alignment specialists are often less expensive and do a far better job.
How much does an alignment cost?
In my area $49.95
In the UK garage chains such as Kwik Fit would charge around £30, or £20 if you have it done at the same time you have new tyres fitted.

How do you know if a brake rotor is warped?
A warped rotor or rotors can cause a pulsation when applying the brakes. The car may shake a bit or a lot, depending on the condition of the rotor(s). Further diagnosis is recommended (and soon) as warped rotors may lead to loss of control of a vehicle that is braking.
What causes front end to vibrate on 2000 Volkswagen beetle?
Most likely cause is that you need your tires rebalanced. The only other thing I can think of is since you didn't put at what speeds this happens at is you could have a small buldge in one of your tires
