Fuel pressure should be around 40. If the injectors are not getting power it will not start. Start with a crank sensor first.

Key won't turn or it does and the engine won't turn over?

I had the same problem on my 1988 and would have to leave it on. On that motor, there is a heat shield that surrounds the starter and if it is not there, when the motor heats up it will transfer that heat to the starter simulating a bad battery/starter problem. Once it cools down it starts fine. Start looking from there or get a remote starter (like I did) so you can leave it running when you run into somewhere fast. A single clonk type noise is a good sign. If you have a rapid clicking with dimming of the lights you have a bad battery. Make sure you have proper voltage/cranking amps before you make a decision.

There is an inline spout connector, kind of like a plug you would plug into the wall, that you have to disconnect before using timing light. This puts the engine in base timing. Set timing to specs and then plug inline spout connector back up.

It could be the fuel pump is unable to create adequate fuel pressure. It could also be the throttle position sensor, throttle body injector, fuel filter and any of a number other problems. Check for a computer code. If you don't see one, it might just be fuel related, since computers don't usually check for that.

There could be many reasons as to why it will crank and not start. The car may have a failing starter, a leaky gas pump may cause the car to cut off while driving.

With the distributor cap off have some one turn the engine over. If the rotor doesn't turn you broke the cam or a timing gear.

Impossible to say. You need to have the ECU scanned with a scan tool. The tool will retrieve the code that has been set. That code will help to find the problem if you know what you are doing.

security feature built into headunit. take out the headunit and it disables the car. you have to go to a stereo shop and either get an adapter to bypass/or register this feature or just have the stereo shop put it in. if you put the factory radio back in and reset it following the steps in the owner's manual it should start again.

A way to tell is by the sound the motor makes. If it is winding slowly with no force it could be going out. If it skips or whines without action it is out.

You should see a doctor, there are several things that could cause this to happen.

If it was a head gasket then the compresion would be low in the affected cylinders low compresion as a result of wear wil make the car hard to start and overheating can also lead to electrical problems, Besides blowing a head gasket, overheating can also cause a cylinder head ro crack. Low compression and engine not starting or hard to start are symptoms. As mentioned above, do not discard the possibility of electrical problems due to overheating. However, the prime suspects are blown head gasket and/or cracked cylinder head.

Either your battery is discharged or dead. caused from 1) alternator not working or 2) Battery life span is over - recharge battery at Any auto parts store . if not recharging . replace battery .

Align the neutral lockout switch.

as a ford technition your prob is prob. the triger wire, which is the wire from the stater sol to the starter (small wire) which has a slide on connection on the starter, remove wire and clean the corrison and reinstall and it will be fine

first you need to know where the pump is ,and even if the pump s broken. cause for sure you can break it trying to do what you asked about.

easiest way to reset the car is to pull the battery cable and let it sit for 20 minutes of so. This removes all volatile stored data from the engine management system. Make sure you write down any radio codes beforehand.

There is a fuse and relay, under the hood in a fuse box. More commonly though, the system will have low Freon. there is a low Freon switch that shuts down the system if the pressure is too low.

it is possibly the starter. mine had the same problem

Check the ignition coils and the crank sensor for the Yukon. Either one of these could be bad and cause the problem.
