Replace the ECU.
Did a tming change car still won't start?
If you mean you did a timing 'belt' change and still wont start, I tend to think your previous one broke ? If this is the case, its more than likely you have bent valves .. so do a compression test. If you didnt have a broken cam belt, recheck your timing marks and be sure you are not 108 degrees out
You will need to determine if is a spark problem or a fuel problem then take it from there.
Make sure that the sterring colum is not in a bind all so see if you have a switch release on the side of the sterring colum and depress and turn the switch to off position make sure the switch has a release lever on the side of the sterring colum if so depress it and turn off the switch

No, they are a different part number and are different steering columns. Stick with the escort/tracer switch. No, they are a different part number and are different steering columns. Stick with the escort/tracer switch.
2000 Chevy Cavalier intermittently no start?
check your starter first of all if its not that then look at the positive terminal on the alternator and see if it may be loose it may just need to be tightened up.. i had a similar problem on my 96 cavalier z24. i switched the connector that connects to the terminal and now its fine. hope this helps.
What kind of bolts hold the ignition control module in a 1987 Ranger 2.3L?
5.5mm bolts are the kind of bolts that hold the ignition control module in a 1987 Ranger 2.3L. However, 5.0mm bolts may also work.
When it is cold out your 2000 Chevy s10 wont start something to do with the fuse relay center?
if it is broken then take it in to the shop
the temp sensor opperates the choke flap , and if the sensor is faulty the choke will stay open and make it difficult to start, and on cold mornings some times make it impossible to start
It can be a dead battery, or a bad starter, the click sound you hear is from the starter relay mounted on the inner fender near the battery, use a test lite and make sure power is coming out of the relay and going to the starter, always replace both the starter and relay if either is found to be bad
Assuming you do not have the headlights on while the ignition is off:
The first suspect is always the battery. Have it checked out, preferably under a load. This can be done at just about any auto parts store.
Second, have the alternator checked to make sure it is putting out sufficient amperage. Most alternators are actually rebuilt, not new.
Third, check your connections from the alternator and the battery. Dirty or poor connections can cause problems.
Fourth, it is possible that there is a short somewhere that is drawing power. A competent mechanic familiar with auto electronics can find it.
Would iac or throttle body cause misfire in engine?
yes. you can clean your throttle body by taking the intake hose off and having a buddy open the throttle plate for you while you spray it with carb cleaner. sometime you will need a whole bottle to clean it and den wipe it down and keep the plate open until it dries.
Defective alternator or broken alternator belt.
What does NO BUS mean on dashboard of a 1999 Circus when the car won't start?
major comunications failure between th ecomputers on the car. next to impossible to diagnose with out a scan tool
I put a new steering column in a 92 Pontiac Bonneville with a code key now car wont start?
Had the problem with Bonneville not starting....turned out to be the security module. Your mechanic should be able to bypass the security module with a $15 part from Radio Shack. Pretty easy fix.
Why when your car warms up you loose spark?
Without year make model & engine size you get a guess. Ignition module, coil, distributor
When starting car what if it just clicks?
That means the solenoid IS working, but power is too low to turn the starter. Check and if necessary clean or tighten the battery terminals. If still the same, charge your battery on slow for at least 12 hours, or get another battery.
How cold is cold? If you are talking 0F or -15C or colder, your oil is congealing. You need an engine heater to turn your oil from lard back to oil so it will lubricate your engine. Otherwise, your battery might check out, however, it is not putting out quite enough amperage. You either have a cell in it about to die or you need a battery of higher amperage.
Why will your 1985 model 190E Benz shuts down regularly and restart after approximately 5 minutes?
Well, I don't know anything about a Benz, but I was having the same problem with my Chevy. The mechanics had run it thru the diagnostic machine to no avail. They also replaced over $700 worth of parts, without success. I bought a new gas cap & it took care of the problem. It was vapor-locking caused by a faulty gas cap.
test for spark.. if none try replacing the spark coil
Might be out of gas. Might be too much gas (flooded). New plug may not be properly gapped. Air filter may be getting dirty. You most likely were running on gas in the gas line which burned out and the scooter stopped. I would check the fuel lines for blockage, check that the petcock is working and not blocked and finally clean or get a new gas filter in the tank. Good luck
What gas helps start a fire and keep it going?
carbon dioxide tehehehehehehehehehehe.
sydney says something
Its actually oxygen but i think this person was just trying to be funny...
check your battery cables and you ground. You may want to check your alternator, if the car only starts when jumped started. IMprovement to answer: If the new battery doesn't start the car, obviously it's not the alternator causing the car not to start... Check the starter relay under the hood if it is equipped and if that works then check the starter solenoid located beside the starter motor. If that's working then you can be pretty sure it's the starter motor causing your problem - maybe worn brushes or excess resistance in the circuit.
Hard to say. If you mean it keeps running after you turn the key off it sounds like it's all carboned up. The carbon (inside the cylinders) gets hot and acts like little spark plugs and keeps the engine running and knocking a while. If it does this all the time I suggest you do a compression check to see if it has a bad timing chain.
