The water pumps are behind the timing belt on the lower portion of the block (I assume we're talking about the 4 cylinder engines), and run off the timing belt (meaning that you have to either be VERY careful with the timing or retime the whole thing when you're done). I've done a few of them and I would *really* recommend taking it to a mechanic - it's a royal pain in the butt to do yourself and, frankly, whatever you do for work you're probably better off making enough money doing that to pay the mechanic rather than spending hours and hours and hours yourself and risking ending up with your timing out.

Despite how much of a hassle it is, it doesn't take an experienced mechanic very long to do it (and the more or less 'official' job-time-estimate manuals reflect this, so shop around if you get a ridiculously high quote); I believe it's only rated at a few hours.

If you DO decide to do it, get a shop manual (ie: Haynes of Chilton). You'll need it. Good luck either way!

Lift cap on the end of the windshield wiper arm where it connects to the wiper motor assembly. Under the cap you will see a nut. Remove the nut with a 15mm socket. Wiggle the wiper arm back and forth until it comes off.

after the door panel is off look @ the metal (closely) about where the motor is AND U will find 3 Dimples in a Triangle pattern, Drill the Dimples out 2 about 1/2 inch.Behind the Dimpes are (3) 5/16 screws(bolts) remove the bolts & wire,then out comes the motor-u might have 2 pry it just a little-b sure 2 check the replacement motor B 4 U install it in the door.(the wires will reach)

Look on top of the intake manifold for the firing order. Then make sure they are in the right order at the distributor.

Call your dealer regarding a recall on Sebring freeze plug leaks. You may get the dealer to repair your problem at no cost.

It is located on TOP of the tank. You will have to drop the tank, pull the filter/pressure regulator out of the rubber grommet on the top of the sending unit, and replace it with a new one. You will have to cut the old clamp off if no one has done it before, and replace it with a GOOD band type fuel injection clamp, not the cheap screw type ones that cut into the hose.

1) You DON'T need to take the outside lens off (99 Durango) 2) Raise the hood and look to either side of the radiator just opposite the outside headlight lens. You will see the black wiring harness terminating on the inside rear of each headlight housing. 3) The headlight assembly consists of 3 items: a)the lamp itself, a lamp socket that the wiring goes into, and a rotating ring that locks the socket into the rear of the headlight housing. 4) Find the rotating ring: it will be fitted over the rear socket and has a couple of protrusions on its outside diameter. It only turns approx. 1/4 turn to loosen or tighten it (it is marked but hard to read). 5) Once the ring is loose, put it back onto the wiring harness. 6) Note the position of the bulb and socket: grasp it firmly and pull it straight out of the headlight housing. 7) Install the new bulb into the socket in the same orientation of the old one, taking care not to touch the glass with your bare fingers. Push the socket into the headlight housing: there is a detent on the bulb that aligns with a groove in the housing). The o-ring on the socket should fit completely into the headlight housing. 8) Position the rotating ring over the socket (by slightly rotating it you will feel the locking prongs fall into place on the headlight housing). Turn the rotating ring 1/4 turn to lock the assembly into place.

Disconnect Neg. Batt. cable. Drain coolant. Remove serpentine belt. Loosen water pump pulley. Use a prybar to hold the pulley in place while you do this. Remove small belt guard just above pump. Remove all bolts and nuts and remove the water pump from the engine. Clean all bolts threads and bolt holes. Remove all traces of gasket and sealent. Use lacquer thinner or acetone on engine mating surface. Make sure to line up the alignment marks at the top. Install bolts finger tight. Then tighten to 89in-lbs(NOT FT-LBS) 1/4 turn at a time as NOT TO OVER TIGHTEN. Sorry can't stress that enough. Re install pully, belt guard,etc. Refill and bleed cooling system. There are bleed screws. One above the water pump. One near the thermostat housing.

in my experience it is a slight leak in heater core it will be antifreeze causing this replace heater core and problem will be fixed

Tires will have the maximum recommended air pressure embossed on the sidewalls of the tires themselves.

The car manufacturer will have the recommended tire pressure on a label on the drivers door jamb and in the owners manual. This is what to set them at.

A tire jack & iron (wrench) should be tucked in the rear compartment (cargo area); pull the rubber plug off the spare tire eyelet; simply fit the elongated tire iron (wrench) to the spare tire eyelet located in the floor; fit the jack on the tire iron and turn counter-clockwise; the tire will begin to lower.

It is in the fuel tank. You have to remove the tank to access.

The power windows on a 1999 Dodge Durango use a self resetting circuit breaker. There is no fuse in the fuse box for the windows.

smart asssssss anser people need help to their problems not quirps of course needs manual but here ugo andbuuuushhhet first u take off radiator andrain allcoolant then 4 fanboltsthen remove hoses that particular truck has half metal hoses so mark rubber to metal hose time of day makes putting back 10 timeseasier gives u references if urs is 4 wheel drive everything on motor front comes off if not 6 bolt and water pump is off clean surfacegood and wipe down id use orange rtv put on pump let stand about 45minutes and slowly replace six bolts almost tite wait 15 minutesand snug down to 30 lbs replace thermostat problem with thesemotors an look for marks on hoses and clamps replace fan and radiator first time use water and check for leaks water is cheaper to spill or leak and has better temp range for getting hotter to make thermo open first time after that top of anti and drive and re check for leaks i was so miffed i forgot to tell u to replace belts they adjust on alt and powersteering indivigually an set screw 14 mm 13 mm and 10 mm and 8 mm there u go

I have had this problem three times. With my 1990 GEO Prizm I went to a dealer (any Chevy or Toyota dealer will do this) with my title and insurance card and got a new key for way cheaper ($4.00) than a locksmith would charge. With my 1999 Chevy Prizm, I had the same problem twice. A locksmith told me that these are hard vehicles to get into, so I ended up going to a dealer again. The above answer is the correct answer. Read your owner's manual.

Today's vehicles use platinum tipped plugs. They are good for at least 100,000 miles unless they fail which would cause severe missing and a severe drop in fuel mileage. If you have regular service done, have the mechanic check them.

you have to remove the timing cover and belt first, its driven by the timing belt and is about dead center of the front of the engine. once the belt is off its a matter of a few bolts to remove, clean the block of all sealant, apply sealant to the new pump and bolt it back in. the t stat housing has to come off so its a good time to change the stat too.
