If you crimp the three wires running to the inertia switch together and remove the switch, it will close the circuit thus bypassing the swich. you can move the distibutor on the valve cover you know what i am talking about where your spark plugs plug into you can gain about five hp but your computer will put it back when it finds out you have to buy a msd ingnithion box

sounds like you may have spun a bearing. if so then the engine needs to be overhauled or replaced.

get fuel pump/ fuel injector checked out

I have same problem and currently pulling off red + cable off battery for 30 seconds to reset then it will start and run fine after 1-3 cranks while pumping gas pedal. I think its the green relay under hood in fuse box.

I believe the recommend oil is a 5W-30

If its a manual transmission: There isn't one you have to pull the plug on the transmission itself.If its a automatic transmission: Its located near the firewall on the passengers side of the engine compartment.Hope this helps!

There is a set screw on the back of the Caliper that you turn to compress the piston. You use the same set screw to adjust the brakes when you change brake pads.

not always u just get lucky or un lucky Yes, this is an interference engine and their will be engine damage if the belt breaks. Replace the belt every 60,000 miles. As the water pump is driven by the cam belt, also replace the water pump at the same time to save on labor cost later when the pump fails.

The headlights go up and down when you turn the headlights on. If they are not going up or down they may be disconnected from the motor. You would have to take the headlights out to see if they are disconnected or not.

Installing a turbo on a 2nd Gen Probe GT is actually not that difficult. Assuming that a halfway decent kit is purchased, all that remains is putting the wrench time. There are a number of things that need to be removed or relocated, and also the transaxle cradle and transverse members need to be cut and welded. As long as you've done your research, have competent friends that know a turbo and common sense you should have no problem. Mine took 1 week on a 1993 PGT and that included all supporting mods for a turbo and an intercooler. The fuel cutoff switch has a problem. It is ocated in the right rear quarter in the luggage compartment. You might even find the switch submerged in water. That happens sometimes due to a plugged drain hole in the bottom of the panel.

This info can always be found in the Chilton or Haynes manual for that model and year vehicle. Tightening sequences usually start from the middle of the cylinder head, then go out as if going in a circle. Example, the 2 bolts on the middle, then the 2 bolts to the right of them, then the 2 bolts to the left of the center, then the 2 even further to the right, then the 2 even further to the left. Often times this needs to be done in multiple stages, like 30ftLbs on each bolt, then back around again with 60ftLbs. Just an example, check out the manual and it should tell you exactly what you need to know. -Shaun

On The 95 probe gt's their is no access panel, you do have to drop the tank. This doesn't require you to take the exhaust off after the catylytic like the manuals say, you just have to remove the driver side rear tire and can pull the tank out the side, replacing it on the other hand, sucks, requiring much kicking and persuading, usually with a hammer and a floor jack.

Buy a book--it will be Mazda most likely. Be more specific. Timing of the crank shaft, or cam shaft positions, or distributor? or all three. They all need to be set correctly for your car to run properly, or maybe you might just guess and get lucky--I didn't.
