If a Ford Windstar only drives in neutral, it may be due to a blown fuse. It will be best to check the neutral safety switch or brake pedal switch.

This will be because someone has changed the wiring configuration - The electric window relay should be energised via a switched 12v (either straight from the ignition switch or from ignition relay) to switch a bigger current to power all the windows. actually you mean ethanol. Ethylene is an ingredient in anti-freeze. Unless the vehicle is specially equipped to be a flex-fuel vehicle, the answer is no. There is no cost benefit to running ethanol anyway. Ethanol is cheaper to buy, but gets significantly less miles per gallon, so you are burning more fuel when you run it.

On a 10 year old car it is time for a complete cooling system service. Drain and flush, replace the thermostat, inspect and replace as necessary all hoses. Also replace the thermal switch for the cooling fans.

Unplug it now! Our 2002 Windstar LX almost burst into flames this morning because the malfunctioning Driver's seat drive motors shorted out! Take Windstar to Ford and have the undercarriage framework replaced before yours also overheats and starts a fire.

There are little metal fingers inside the line that snap behind a ridge on the fuel filter inlet and outlet tube. The purpose of the tool is to spread those fingers outward. What you have to do is, clip the tool over the filter tube with the cone aimed toward the line. Slide the cone of the tool into the end of the line and press it completely into the line as far as it will go. It sometimes helps to push the line and the filter together somewhat as you push the tool up into the line, and then pull the line off of the filter. It can be a little tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it's not that hard.

It's located on the side of the transmission extention housing. Mine is on the drivers side. The speedometer wiring harness must first be detached and the sensor retaining bolt as well. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Couple things to check are front end alignment, tire balance & pressure, and bent rims. Good Luck and Remember.

It's either the in-tank sensor, in-dash gauge, a connector, broken wire or a bad fuse. I know that's not much help, but that's the best anyone could do for you without more information.

there are several things that could cause this issue.. 1st being a bad door pin switch.. another that I have seen is aftermarket alarms cause this condition.

probably you have a disconnected vacuum line. that line runs from the passenger side of the intake to the firewall and across the firewall and through the firwewall in fron of the drivers door by the windshield wiper motor. it then runs under the steerring column and joins some mechanisms above the accelorator pedal. when you find it and join it your car will run better too.

Hey Oscar- this happened to me too, I replaced the oil sending unit on the bottom of the engine just behind the passenger front wheel but behind the engine. This will fix it.

Equally likely is if the belt is much more than 3-4 years, the material is glazing over or hardening, which is another common cause of squealing.

its located on the right side , in the front, under the support bar. there are a series of relays located there, about 5 or 6 lined side by side. you can test it by pulling it out and the inserting one of the other relays in each slot till you find the right slot for the relay. it doesnt matter which one, cause they are all the same type. you can do this by matching the colors of the wires coming from the compressor to the colors of the wires leading to the relay.

Could be motor mounts, the tires out of alignment or out of balance, or the steering needs work.

A clockspring controls the air bag, cruise control and the horn. I had mine replaced. On a Grand Caravan Dodge.
