You first need to know the firing order and the #1 location on the distributor cap. Best way is to get yourself a service manual for the vehicle you are working on.

dont know the size, however you can order replacement speakers from a Jaguar dealership the price is around $31.00 each They are 6-1/2" 2-way Speakers for both the front and rear door panels.

if it is like my older model chev truck there is a circut board in the wiper motor assembly, (under the hood), that needs to be replaced. You can get the part at any auto supply store.

You have to remove the entire dash panel that the speaker grills are located on. Just pry the entire cover off from either the drivers side or passenger side. Shouldn't take too much work. I have the same car and replaced my speakers also. The speaker grills do not come off of the dash cover.

It's used to store, and can be removed to change your vehicles programmable features. I'm not sure where the computer that controls, and stores this located. If you have the owners manual you can read about how to change the different features (ex. how your doors lock and unlock, remote activation alert functions, security alarm functions, etc.) the fuse doesn't feed power to anything else, as far as I know. There are different features for different trim models, also indicated in the manual

I have a 2003 Grand Prix GT and the AC recharge port is right behind the motor on the firewall. Look for the silver pipes coming out of the firewall right near the middle. You will see the recharge port on one of the pipes there.

I have a 2005 Cheverolet ColBalt with 2 remotes, one works and one does not, how do i program it for both to work?

Sounds like the tranny, the cat would slow the revs as it is essentially choking the exhaust output. Is there a code in the OBD II autozone will scan for free!

The ABS light comes on when there is a problem in the system. Bad sensor, pump, etc. As far as I know the ABS uses it's own computer and is difficult or impossible (in most cases) to pull codes from to find out what the exact problem is. About the only option you have is to take it to a shop to have it put on a scanner. That or start replacing parts at random. It should be fixed as soon as you can, however, when the ABS stops working you WILL NOT lose your brakes. It simply operates like a pre-ABS system.

It's located on the back side of the intake manifold. It's screwed into the manifold.

You can, for about 10% of the price of a new pulley, but you need a bearing press or hydraulic press to do it properly. A new metal pulley usually costs around $30, but the bearing can be obtained for $3 to $4.

It's the motor assembly that causes the door to go up and down.

From what I hear it has something to do with an "o" ring not being installed on the air conditioner are. Not sure what that means but apparently it is a known issue.

The Aurora is faster. I have one myself. It has 50 more horses then a Grand Prix GT, and it is also faster then the supercharged Grand Prix GTP. Not much faster, but it is.

I just did one on a 99 Grand Am. It really was quite simple once I got it apart. On mine, the ignition would not turn from the off position; therefore I could not remove the lock cylinder from the ignition switch (that took me while to ovecome). I am not familiar with the Grand Prix dash configuration, I assume it is similar. Just pick up a manual ($20.00, well worth it) for the grand prix it explains the removal process well. The Auto Zone near me had both the lock cylinder and the ignition switch in stock so I could see how it all went together before I got started. Once you get the new cylinder, you may want to take it to a lock smith and have it keyed to match the existing key so you don't have to mess with two keys (one for the doors and one for the ignition). The one thing you need to be aware of is the factory Passlock Security System. If you did not have the ignition re-keyed you will need to reprogram the security system in order for the car to start. I used the 10 minute reprogram for the Passlock 2 system, put the key in the ignition and turn the engine over (the car should not start, if it did you are done), turn the key to the ON position, let it set for 10 min. The security light should be flashing. After 10 min. the security light should stop flashing the car is ready to learn the new key value. Turn the key off, wait 5 seconds, and then try to start the car. Good luck!

Ideally you would want to know why the check engine light is on. It could be something serious or it may not be. Are there any other symtoms/noises? It could be one of many things. The engine needs to be scanned for the error codes and a diagnosis can be made from there. Autozone or Advance auto will pull the codes for free. Hope this helps. "G"

You don't have to modify it at all. They should be the same engine. Unless the 99 had a 3.1 in it then you'd have to change out the entire drive-train and probably the computer too.

I ended up finding the port so I figured I'd answer my own question and maybe save someone else some pain down the road. I was initially looking at the high pressure port, which is located right behind the air filter. The port looks like it would fit the recharge hose, but it is just slightly to big. I was told that all low pressure ports are the same size, so after I figured that out it was pretty obvious I had the wrong port instead of needing some sort of reducer or something. The low pressure port is behind the engine by the transmission oil dip stick. Basically right below the middle of the windshield. You can see the AC line come up and go back down and it's right on that hump in the line. Mine has a black cap on it. It's pretty easy to get to.

A COUPLE OF THINGS TO CHECK 1.Fuse 2.wiper relay 3.power to the wiper motor...if not, check the harness...if yes, check wiper motor. 4.Check the wiper switch on the column YOUR WIPER ARM NUT IS PROBABLY LOOSE. YOU WILL NEED EITHER A 14MM OR A 12MM WRENCH TO TIGHTEN.
