Is axel really dead?

As of my last update, Axel's status depends on the context you're referring to—whether it's a character from a specific show, movie, or game. If you're referencing a popular series, such as "Kingdom Hearts" or "The Walking Dead," it’s best to check the latest episodes or chapters for the most accurate information. In many stories, characters may have moments of apparent death but can return due to various plot devices.

Where is the thermostat on 1999 Honda accord 4 cylinder?

The thermostat on a 1999 Honda Accord with a 4-cylinder engine is located on the engine block, near the water pump. What causes surging in a snowblower?

Surging in a snowblower is often caused by inconsistent fuel delivery, which can result from a clogged fuel filter, a dirty carburetor, or improper fuel mixture. Additionally, air leaks in the intake system or a malfunctioning governor can lead to fluctuating engine speed. Maintaining the fuel system and ensuring proper tuning can help prevent surging. Regular maintenance, including cleaning or replacing filters and inspecting the carburetor, is essential for optimal performance.

Does a 2008 Honda CRV have a timing belt or a timing chain?

The 2008 Honda CR-V comes equipped with a timing chain rather than a timing belt. Timing chains are generally more durable and require less frequent replacement compared to timing belts. They are designed to last the lifetime of the engine and are typically quieter in operation.

Would anyone know about a leak in a 1988 corvette in the front passenger side at the firewall in the heater area?

I guess the first question is...What is it leaking? If it is coolant, then the heater core is the correct answer. If it's water, like when it rains or you are washing the car, then the area under the vent screen, under the wipers has probably separated and would need to be re-sealed. I have not had the problem on my '88 convert., but have had it on my '68. It doesn't take much make it seem like a lot of water. Good luck. Sounds like a bad heater core

What causes oil and water mix in the radiator?

You may have driven into a lake!!! If not you could have several problems that would cause this type of injury to your engine. When the engine is cold and you start it up do you have air bubbles appearing in your radiator? This could indicate a blown head gasket that is leaking coolant when you shut your engine off and it cools off. Other possible causes are a crack in a head, cylinder liner or block. Did you ever overheat the engine severely? This may have caused a crack in the block or head. Remove the spark plugs after the engine has cooled and observe each cylinder If you are blowing a mist or coolant this would narrow it down to a head gasket or a head. Otherwise, you are f-----. You have a cracked block and you should bale while it didn't cost you to much. Bad JUJU!!!! There is of course the very bizarre water pump issue that allows the impeller to wear a whole in the rear cam cover and leak coolant into the block. Probably no your first choice but I have seen it. The final piece of info I can offer is to BUY A BOOK!! THERE IS SO MUCH INFO AVAILABLE TO YOU IF YOU TAKE THE TIME TO INVESTIGATE!!! Hope I helped you out!! MotorDick

96 Honda accord will not start in cold weather?

Some vehicles are hard to start in cold weather, sometimes the choke needs to be adjusted or you can have your idle adjusted. Sometimes the fuel filter is dirty and wont allow the gas to flow freely, check that too.

In cold weather, the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is controlling the idle. Try cleaning the Mass Airflow Sensor by spraying with CRC MAF cleaner which you can get at AutoZone. It comes in a gray spraycan.

If that does not work, try looking at all your hoses to see if there is a vacuum leak.

Why are your fans turning on intermitently?

The fans may be turning on intermittently due to a malfunction in the fan motor, a faulty temperature sensor, or a wiring issue. It is recommended to have a professional inspect and diagnose the problem to determine the exact cause of the issue.

Cold weather starting of geo metro manual transmission car will not turn over when extremely cold outside could this problem have something to do with clutch ingaged sensor turnsover when warm weather?

Believe it or not, you may need a new set of plug wires. If the ones on the car are old, the resistance in them is shot and cold weather won't let them fire the engine. If it won't turn over at all, maybe you're running too heavy a weight of oil. I'd suggest you get a block warmer and plug it in every night. This will keep the oil thinned and assist in starting the engine in the morning.

---- Answer 2 ----

I would say check the battery FIRST. Have a local parts store test it for free. You should know that as the temperature dropsthe chemical reaction in alead-acid battery is dramatically reduced. This is most prominent between 32F and 0F or colder. I'm not sure what you consider extremely cold. Another thing to note is the batteries age, and how much you paid for it. A $100 battery should last you (at least) five years or so. Dont buy bargain batteries, they are junk and will leave you stranded. Also, one last thing, note the CCA, or Cold Cranking Amps on your battery. Get the best CCA rating (higest) you can afford. Thisrating is what determines how much power can be supplied at the very moment you turn the ignition. Oh I forgot, also check all your connections on battery terminals, and on the starter solinoid, and make sure they are tight. Oh yeah, and the clutch should always be pushed in while starting, or transmission in neutral, either way.

Why might a 92 Accord EX five speed intermittently crank but not start when it usually starts flawlessly The last time this happened it still wouldn't start when the clutch was popped?

the starter might not be engaging properly. it might need to be replaced. My 92 Accord drive me bananas with this problem - turns out it was the ignition coil. The 1992 models had a recall for a bad distributor also, check for excessive distributor shaft play. Mine would not start in cold weather or wet weather, at other times it was fine. Good Luck. .-=gp=-.

What could be causing a 2005 grand prix with 14000 kms to have ticking sound that does not increase with RPMs it seems worse when engine is warm and poor performance especially at low speeds and RPMs?

VALVE LIFTERS... the fact that the ticking does not increase with rpms rules out valve tapping or worn piston pin but is indicative of the bearings going bad in the water pump which also would explain the loss of performance.

Why is your maitenance required light on in a 1994 Acura Integra?

Has your timing belt been changed? From what I understand, the car automatically turns on the light every 60,000 miles (the recommended interval between timing belt changes). I changed mine well after the light came on (it came on while the previous owner still had it) and the belt was long overdue. Also, when you do change it, you have to manually reset the light.

Which is the most reliable used American car for longevity and is there a site that tells this?

Generally, large-sized cars like the Crown Victoria (edit: discontinued and Canadian made) are the most reliable and smaller cars like the Focus are unreliable as well as unsafe. (Edit: Focus is safe and very reliable) But if you're going for looks and a decent reliability, go with a mid-size like the Fusion or Malibu.

The longest lasting American vehicles are Chevrolet and Ford full sized pickups. They are designed to be maintained and repaired by owners. Cars are designed to be maintained and repaired by dealers. It follows then, that the dealers with the best service department, (at least during warranty) are going to provide the most satisfactory ownership experience. Where I live, Buick has the best dealership. Luckily, they have started making great cars again instead of the marshmallow cars of yesteryear.

The good news is that nearly all new cars will last twice as long with a third less maintenance than cars built just 10 years ago.

How many commercial hogs did Americans slaughter in 1998?

Do you have dyslexia if you switch letters around sometimes?

Dyslexia is a developmental reading disorder

Developmental reading disorder, also called dyslexia, is a reading disability resulting from the inability to process graphic symbols.

Causes, incidence, and risk factors

Developmental reading disorder (DRD) is not caused by vision problems, but rather by problems with the brain's ability to recognize and process symbols. Children with DRD may have trouble rhyming and separating the sounds in spoken words. These abilities appear to be critical in the process of learning to read.

A child's initial reading skills are based on word recognition, which involves being able to separate out the sounds in words and match them with letters and groups of letters. More developed reading skills require the linking of words into a coherent sentence. Because DRD children have difficulty connecting the sounds of language to the letters of words, they may have difficulty understanding sentences.

Most children with DRD have normal intelligence, and many have above-average intelligence. The disorder is a specific information processing problem that is not connected with the ability to think or to understand complex ideas.

DRD may appear in combination with developmental writing disorder and developmental arithmetic disorder. All of these involve using symbols to convey information. These conditions may appear alone or in any combination.

Other causes of learning disability and, in particular, reading disability, must be ruled out before a diagnosis of DRD can be made. Cultural and educational shortfalls, emotional problems, http://wiki.answers.com/pubmedhealth/n/pmh_adam/A001523/, and diseases of the brain (for example http://wiki.answers.com/pubmedhealth/n/pmh_adam/A000594/) can all cause learning disabilities.

Symptoms
  • Difficulty determining the meaning (idea content) of a simple sentence
  • Difficulty learning to recognize written words
  • Difficulty rhyming
  • May occur in combination with writing or arithmetic learning problems
Signs and tests

The first step is to perform a complete medical (both physical and neurologic), developmental, social, school performance, and family history. These may be followed by psychoeducational testing and psychological assessment. Other causes of learning disabilities will need to be ruled out before the diagnosis of DRD can be confirmed.

Treatment

Special education services may include specialist help, individualized tutoring, or special day classes. Every individual has different requirements and an Individual Education Plan should be created for each child. Positive reinforcement is important as many students with learning disabilities have poor self-esteem. Psychological counseling may be helpful.

Expectations (prognosis)

Extra help (remedial instruction) can lead to marked improvement in reading and understanding. Difficulties with reading may be lifelong, however.

Complications
  • Problems in school, including http://wiki.answers.com/pubmedhealth/n/pmh_adam/A003255/(an indirect result, such as a reaction to teasing by other children) and loss of self-esteem
  • Problems with reading in adulthood, which may result in occupational problems in certain careers, particularly if the problem was not addressed early

Calling your health care provider

Call your health care provider if your child appears to be having trouble learning to read.

Prevention

Learning disorders tend to run in families. DRD is one kind of learning disorder. Affected families should make every effort to recognize existing problems early.

For families without a previous history of learning disabilities, an intervention can begin as early as preschool or kindergarten if teachers detect early signs. Early intervention will provide the best possible outcome.

How to fix the lock of a Peugeot 205?

If the problem is that the inside door slider is stuck in the down position then it's probably that the rocker mechanism attached to the outside handle (just behind the slider) is rusty and the rocker won't drop when the outside handle is lifted and released. Remove the door trim: Torx screws hold on the armrest and door pocket and the other plastic parts just pull off; and prise off the trim, getting your fingers close to each of the plastic poppers. Spray penetrating oil into the top corner of the door and work the rocker free.

How can you fix the trunk release on a 1996 or 1997 Ford Taurus when the key won't or doesn't work?

This may be a simple fix.... Ford door and trunk locks are notorius for "freezing up". Buy a can of lithium spray grease, insert the stem that comes with the can into the lock, and spray the lock with the lithium grease lubricant. This may free it up. You should lubricate the locks on your doors and trunk at least once a year. Note: This will also work on the locks to your house. It keeps them operating smoothly. If that doesn't work, perhaps you don't have the correct key for the trunk. Many Ford vehicles require one key for the doors and a different key for the trunk.
