A radiator shop has tools to repair this problem maybe without removing the radiator, copper is a soft metal and with heat can be molded easily. I dont think it will cost much since it is a simple job. You can try it yourself with a blunt chisel or big blunted screwdriver with a soft hammer try pushing the ridge out from the inside and be sure in the future to place the hose clamp behind the ridge so as not to squash it.

Had this happen once. Found out the thermostat was'nt opening. Replaced it and everything worked fine. Watch your heat gauge, if after a few minutes of the engine running and the gauge goes from nothing to hot imediatly instead of gradully, you;ve probably got a bad thermostat.
