Check the owners manual for your car. Older cars run water only, middle aged cars run 50% water and 50% anti freeze and newer cars run 100% anti freeze. Once you know what you car requires just wait until you engine is cold, take off the radiator cap or the the fill cap of the plastic overflow container and add to the full line on the container.

The above answer is totally incorrect, and you should ignore it. The person that posted this does not know what they are talking about. Older cars do not run pure water and newer cars do not run pure anti-freeze. All vehicles require a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and distilled water. In extremely cold climates a 60/40 mix may be necessary. Running pure water or pure anti-freeze are both ansking for trouble. Pure water provides no protection whatsoever. And pure anti-freeze will freeze at a higher temperature than a mix.

Heater/radiator hoses laeking. 5.Remember all radiators operate above the boiling point of water under pressure,so if there is a weak spot in radiator or hoses its gonna leak.Antifreeze does a much better job under pressure for this task,not only to prevent freezing in winter, but stops corrosion too.The point is let it cool off before working on radiator or its components. Is the water pump in good shape?

Check to see that it is full of water, Even if it was before, It may not be after the thermostat opened,

Is the fan working?

Is the engine in good shape, A bad timing chain or the ignition timing being off can cause excessive heat.

Park the vehicle uphill on an incline or jack the front end up. Remove the radiator cap and make sure it is full of coolant. Start the engine and run until no more air bubbles are escaping. Be sure and keep it topped off.

Chances are you have a bad head gasket if that is happening. Get it repaired ASAP.

Assuming you are looking for the radiator drain valve, you will find it on the passenger side of the radiator, under the lower radiator hose.

The Relay is located in the black box on the drivers side of the car next to the firewall. turn the knob on the top of the box till the bolt releases and the relay is going to be #14 (grey relay top right of the box)

There are many reason for the leaks, either corrosion, freezing, shaking, etc. They can usually be repaired by draining the fluids, then removing the radiator and cleaning the seams, or pin holes areas with a fine wire brush, steel wool, scotch brite or something similar, then re-soldering the area. Another solutiuon would be to take it to a radiator shop where they will dip it to clean the inside well, then repair the seams.

Radiators in most newer cars can't be repaired because of the way they are made(mostly plastic and aluminum. The best way and ONLY way to repair a leaky radiator is to replace it. Repair it and you will be repairing it again and again.

Remove upper clamp ( located on the top of the radiator ) and disconnect upper and lower hoses. To install do the reverse . I also have a 1995 rodeo with a flexlite 116 electric cooling fan. It was very easy to istall ( thru core kit included ) . Make sure you get the one that moves 2015 cfm. I live in MIami and my truck runs cool and the a/c works great.

If you can't find drain plug, just disconnect lower radiator hose.
