under the manifold, left side of the motor. 2 bolts is all you need to undo it. You may have to take some hoses off to get to it
generally starters are located by the transmission so they spin the vehicles flywheel and start the vehicle. so check around the tranny in the front
the starter is under the intake on the 2.4 liter. look between your valve cover and the firewall.easiest way to change it is pull your intake, mass airflow sensor, etc
I believe u can remove the air intake box and a couple of hoses and pull the starter out that way easier, but you will still have to get under the car to get to the starter to unbolt the it
Unplug your battery and turn and hold the ignition switch to start. Hold it for about 30 seconds or so. Once you plug your battery back on, your truck will be hard to start until the computer re-programs.
If you do not repair the malfunction that caused the code, the check engine light will come back on.
read up on it...should be a simple job...
...everyone should have a manual for their vehicle(parts store or dealer), and a local library should have professional shop manuals available in the REFERENCE section for free...make copies of the appropriate sections...read up and good luck :)
What a moronic answer: 'read a book'. Won't be coming here again for help.

Yes it can. I had a 1998 Honda Odyssey with an aftermarket set-up and it did that. I would pull over, put it park and restart. After an ignition switch recall, the system is not connected anymore so the problem is gone.
The Roman withdrawal from Britain was not a sudden thing. Some troops were withdrawn in 401 AD and in 410 AD Britain was told that they had to defend themselves. By 426 AD there was a complete withdrawal of remaining magistrates and civilians.
Nothing happens to the water molecules themselves, except that they move faster. Boiling is a physical change, not a chemical one. All that happens is the weak attractive forces between different water molecules are broken and individual molecules are turned into a gas, which is steam.
Upon boiling, the energy fueled to the water has reached the summit of latent heat capacity of water and is enough to overcome the molecular forces or polarity attractions between the water molecules. As the water molecules about 7 to 8 natural clumping together is broken apart, the water molecules exist in gas form and free into the atmosphere from the water. If the water is just merely heated but not reaching boiling point, what happened to the water is evaporation. Evaporation occurs on the surface of the water which contacts with the air. As the temperature of the water increases, the water molecules are vibrating vigorously, but not high enough to change into gas form and are suppressed by the pressure of the water above them layerly. However, the superficial water molecules have the least water pressure acting on them, hence they can flee into the air. This is evaporation.

Stop running or stop moving? Anyway, not likely unless it's a big truck with a hydovac break system.
the speed senor is on the dirver side of the transmission tail shaft and there are 4 oxygen sensors and thay are on the exhaust by the transmission
Pull the codes from the computer, match the code to the troubleshooting procedure, follow the procedure to find the source. Repair the source, light will go out if that was the only problem. There are "monitors" or self test the computer runs the car through, if a problem occurs, it may not run all of the self tests until that problem is taken care. Therefore, another problem may exist.
The following worked on my 2000 Neon: After replacing what the diagnostic test said was bad, I disconnected one of the battery cables for approximately 30 minutes. I then made contact or touched the battery terminal with the cable battery clamp three (3) times and then connected the cable to the battery. It reset the computer.

If you need a new flip key portion, you will need to read up on it at www.haakey.com or see your local VW dealer. If you have lost your key, you will need to show proof of ownership. A pre cut key can be ordered. Then you have to pay to get the transponder programed because you program the car, not the key. Now there's a second option that may or may not be a lot of work and money. You can go on eBay and buy a Uncut key for your Jetta, (BE WARNED that some places will not cut a key they do not sell because it could damage the cutter on their machine. You'll have to call around and do your research. Only automotive locksmiths cut the inner profile key.
On a 2000 VR6 GLS Auto transmission there is one on top and one on back .
The one on top is part # 01M 927 321 B . Does anyone know part# for the one on back?
Just put the key in the ignition and turn it like you would to start it. Once the key is in the on position just apply the brake to shift. If you have a manual transmission you can push start it, ive never heard of push starting an auto tranny car
driver side under the dash. kind of where the hood release is located.
driver side under the dash. kind of where the hood release is located.
There should be a c-clip on back side of cylinder to release it, then you can order a new one with a key from a catalog. Save the old one-sometimes you need some pieces off of it.
where is the fuse for the airconditioning for 2000 jetta vw located
There is a bolt underneath the power steering pump that secures it from moving. It is on the opposite side of the pulley. (There are two bolts in that position, the lower one is the one you want.)
Loosen that and your pump should pivot freely.
