A code 32 indicates a EGR system fault.
The EGR valve takes some of the exhaust gases from the combustion cycle and returns them into the intake air system. This cuts down on the NOx emissions. A faulty EGR valve shouldn't keep a car from starting.
The repair for a code 32 is to replace the EGR valve.
Is the car in park? Do the lights turn on? If so are the dim, or bright? If no lights you likely have a dead battery. From there I would check fuses. Good luck.
try squirting some sarter fluid in air filter .if this starts engine and then dies, try it again. if engine will run as long as you squirt starter fluid ,the stop when starter fluid runs out, pretty much means you are not getting fuel. so you then need to check fuel filter, fuel pump injectors and injector pump until you find the problem
maybe the neutral safety switch
Red security on light flashing on a 03 dodge ram won't start?
Sounds like something with alarm discharged battery.
Can you replace the throttle body fuel injectors with a carburetor in a 2.8 Chevy v6?
Yes, it can be done, but why in the world would you want to replace a system that is more efficient, will yield better mileage, quicker starts, better performance, with a carburetor? Fuel Injection is superior to a carburetor in every way.
Why is the ignition fuse blowing in your 1999 Chevy Cavalier?
Because something on that supply line has a problem
possibly the ignition switch electrical part , but you will want to pull the key cylinder and make sure the little piece on the back of the cylinder is not cracked off nomal indicated by a key that seems to turn to far
Why won't my 2007 Chrysler pacifica won't start its cold out and the lights was left on all night?
Because you left the lights on all night. This drains the battery. Connect a battery charger and wait about 3 hours. Then the car might start. If it does not start buy a new battery or a new car whichever you prefer.
battery juice is gone.
How do you change a starter on a 1993 buick century v6 3300?
well first you make sure your car is off. then u take the wires of and undo the bolts then replace it with a new one and the work backwards.
I had this same problem when i bought my cavalier. I had the ignition lock\key part changed and I changed the ignition switch myself and it worked fine. Now I have yet another problem.
fuel pump is the first place i would look
Sounds like a fuel pump........and of course it's in the fuel tank which you will have to drop. Do you feel any buzzing or whinning from the fuel tank when you just turn the key on, do not start. Tap the fuel tank with a rubber mallet just to send some vibration through the tank and see if that helps. If it starts and runs you'll still need a fuel pump. You can go to a shop and have them put a fuel pressure gauge on your fuel line or rail at the engine and turn it on and see what kind of fuel pressure you are getting
Why wont your 1989 Toyota Camry turn over and then an hour later start without any problem?
Check your tank, it seems like you have some water in there. The best way to take water away from there is to use Dry Gas which you can buy in any auto part stores. You will need to do that at least 3-4 times (1 bottle for 1 full tank).
How do you wire a citroen saxo ignition barrel?
To wire an ignition barrel in the Citroen Saxo, begin by disconnecting the wire at the negative terminal of the battery. A lead wire has to go to the ACC terminal on the ignition barrel. The starter relay wire goes to the ST terminal and the ignition wire is connected to the IGN terminal.
Would a bad starter cause a 1995 Toyota Camry to have a loud idle and now car wont start at all?
Loud idle? no, not turn over ,yes
Hi. I know this does not help but... I am having the same problem. Have you managed to diagnose it yet??. Any information much appreciated. Thanks.
that could be a number of things,i'll give you the most common.
weak spark clogged fuel filter clogged air filter wrong ignition timing low compression bad fuel pressure regulator(stuck open) a bad vacuum leak. problems with the IAC (idle air control)sensor among others.
Answer
another common problem could also be main relay on left side lower dash. engine would start due to fuel pressure in rail. but shut off due to failure of this main relay. this complaint usually occurs when hot/sitting in the hot sun.
check the fuses. there are 2 fuses that relate to fuel supply
could very well be the egr valve i would check that as well.
I had the same issue and after replacing sensors, regulators, relays, etc. car still wouldn't start! Finally picked up a used pcm/ecm module (electronic control module) at a salvage yard, plugged it in and car started up. Just to test I reconnected the old pcm/ecm and again car wouldn't start. Put back the replacement and car fired up. I've seen on the internet where people did the same as me, replacing fuel pump, sensor, relays, injectors, regulators and their car wouldn't start and they couldn't figure it out so I thought I'd share what worked in my case.
Change the PCV valve, it helps and or eliminates this. I have a 96 200sx ser change the PCV valve it helps or eliminates this problem. This helps also on 95-2000 sentras including the 2.0L
Type your answer here... Yes water in the gas tank would prevent a car from starting depending on the quantity of water/gas..............OK now for the maybe bad news or ridiculously bad news if your car has been sitting sometimes water can form in the oil that is why it is milky unfortunatley its more than likely a blown head gasket or worse from you description of the problem its hard to tell. I would have a mechanic look at it and hope that its been in a barn for 9 months and that's the problem but more than likely youll need to pull the heads and change the gasket and perhaps rebuild the head. Good Luck
What would cause 2003 ford explorer not to start it just keeps turning over and won't start?
Either no spark or no gas
First check for fire at any of the sparkplugs and if you have spark then check your fuel pressure and if its not within specs then replace the pump.
