it's a complete kit. You can get one at a Junk Yard or from auto parts.

That is on the inside of each door, behind the door panel and that is what makes the windows go up and down.

Call your local "You Pull It " junk yard. They will have two prices. One if you take it off the vehicle and one if they already have one that's been pulled off by their laborer.

Power windows have circuit breakers. It is a rare case that one would go bad.

The cables cannot be replaced alone. There is a power window regulator, which is the center track, cables, and spool for the cables. This part can cost from $50 to $180. The best thing to do would be to pay some one to install it for you. Unless you are very patient and have small enough hands, it will be extremely difficult. The dealership will charge about $450 for the parts, labor, and taxes. Not a fun thing to go through :(

1. Remove the door Pull-handle cover, by inserting a screwdriver into the access hole on the bottom of the handle, and using the screwdriver as a lever, pop off the handle cover.

2. Remove the button covering a retaining screw in the interior door latch backing plate.

3. Remove the 8 Torx� retaining screws around the perimeter of the door panel, and the single Torx� retaining screw in the interior door latch.

4. Remove the 2 hex bolts in the door handle.

5. Gently lift the panel upwards, to disengage the window weather-strip molding.

6. Remove the Door Latch Trim Panel, be sure to unplug the Power Lock Switch, and remember how the wire was run.

7. Remove the interior door latch, by gently pulling out on the front corner, which is held in by a plastic compression spring.

autozone.com has online manuals that give step by step how to There are two screws hidden behind the removable rubber caps on interior pull strap. There is a screw hidden behind plastic guard behind interior handle (pry plastic guard out where the indentation is for small flathead screwdriver or pick). There are two more screws, one next to red reflector and one at the bottom of the trim panel. After all screws are removed gently pry the door lock/window control panel up and out. Pull door panel up and out. Disconnect remaining molex connectors. And reverse to reinstall. You may have to drill out rivets and replace with small bolts and nuts. Its a difficult enough repair to pay someone else to do it in my opinion.

I'm not sure if this will help but heres what I have on power windows. lower window to down position(if you can) remove door panel remove window weatherstripping remove black window surrond(should be a screw on top of surrond towards back edge) then stationary window should unbolt then remove pins that hold operator to track pick up and pull out the operating window

your heater coil is leaking.replace it

Run another dedicated hot wire to the drivers window switch. This will provide power to that window no matter if the driver cuts the power or not.

you can go to a glass company and have them cut and install its lot cheaper than going to the manufactor i just went through similar situration with a Saturn

I have this same problem and thought it was the switch because it was buzzing when I pressed it. I went to the dealer to get a replacement and he said that he's replaced hundreds of motors, but never a switch. Pig-headed as I am, I ordered the new switch and installed it. Turns out, the parts manager was correct. I'm in the process now of analyzing the job of replacing the motor. I looks like just a few bolts and an electrical connection, but it's hard to tell w/o the manual b/c everything is behind sheet metal once the panel is removed.

My rear passenger window sometimes gets stuck in the down position.

To roll up the back window I need to SLAM shut driver side door really hard.

The driver side door has the master panel for all windows. Sometimes the master switch button for the rear window gets stuck in the down position and by slamming the door it cause the back windows switch to pop up to it's normal position.

This is only a temporary work around and does not fix the problem. My car is 1995 and I have doing this procedure for the past 2 years. It works for me and I no intention on getting it repaired permanently.

Close the window press the button again as if to close and listen for a click window reset

this is something I need to know as well... I have R & R'd power window motors before. pretty simple really you just have to find the trick to getting your door panel off without breaking any of your connectors holding it together. most that I have taken off disconnect from the bottom of the door and have to slide upwards to be removed. In some vehicles the connectors absolutely have to be replaced; I don't think this is one of those models but it is not that expensive to replace them anyways so it would be a good idea (annoying squeaks and rattles from these can drive you crazy).

the track may not be align and its binding somewhere inside. you have to remove the trim and the plastic water seal so you have a better view. if you can roll your window manually the better but first you have to disconnect wiring harness from the power window motor. if not just try to roll it up and down using its own switch and check where it binds do the necessary adjustment. check also your window gasket maybe its the culprit. goodluck.

I have removed and repaired the window motors on our Sienna van. Remove the door handle and and I believe there two bolts to remove before pulling off the inside panel which is just a pop off proceedure. I can't remember exactly how to remove the motor but it is fairly clear. Once the motor is removed take it apart and solder the circuit braker contacts together. If you are not comfortable with soldering, take the motor to a repair shop and have them do it. I have done both motors in our 98 and have had no more problems. This is somewhat vague but it's been awhile.

To install a new window regulator on a MGRZ driver's door, remove the door panel and the wiring attached to the power window mechanism. Remove stereo speaker from the inside door and the window glass. Remove the old window regulator and replace with new.

Sounds like it is your window motor drive box. I have had to repair three in my 95 Maxima. There is no longer a good bond between your rubber isloation wheel and the output drive. This is the part behind the round aluminum cover adjacent to your electric window drive motor.
