Referencing the 1997 Tahoe Owners Manual Index under fuses refers you to section 6-63; pages 6-63 to 66 show the location and layout of the fuse panel (access panel is on the drivers-side of the dashboard - on the side of the dashboard instrument panel; door has to be opened), and a description and layout of all the fuses therein. AC Blower (etc.) is fuse 12, probably 25A.

I just bought a 94 f150 with exactly the same problem... no horn and airbag light flashing... I haven't looked at the problem yet... so I am very interested in a answer (fix) ...will watch with interest or will report the fix when I get around to it...

we just did this at 132000 miles.they should be pressed out (and new ones back in) but found, after getting a quote to have the work done at a shop (nearly 900.00!)that we purchased the parts AND a press to do it ourselves still saving 450.00 after all was said & done! took my husband and son about three hours with the added bonus of having added a press to their tool collection! time is money, we are well aware as we are trades people, and this was a deal no matter how you slice it!

Hi, there's probably 2 answers for that. 1- Low fluid level in your brake master cylinder. If the answer is yes, Check the pads for excessive worn or... adjust the level. The dual pistons front calipers can take a large amount of brake fluid even if your pads have 50% left. 2- Electrical problem; in this case, disconnect the connectors on the master cylinder (level sensor) and the hand brake. If the light is still "on", you'll have to find a "short to ground harness". Wish you luck. Hope it's the first one.

You have a misfire. Check the coil packs. If the first answer don't help also check your spark plugs and check your motor mounts and if that not it get you exhaust checked or do a compression test.

Check your owner's manual, but newer cars can also illuminate the brake light if the fluid in the master brake cylinder is too low.

This may have happened if the brakes were bled but not filled, or if the caliper was pushed back in, but fluid was lost in overflow, etc.

You may be low on brake fluid. If you are low on brake fluid you may be ready for some brake work or you have a leak somewhere in the system, have it checked soon!

You can get them from a ford dealer .... or a more cost effective way is to try Ebay, there are many manuals for sale there

Typically, there's a hot switch attached to the pedal which closes the circuit to the brake lights (or to the CECU board in a truck which uses CAN BUS communication).

When you open the door, you should see the sensor, looks like marker cap sticking out either from the door or from the car body, check all around, and press it, do this to all doors and truck, if you have a station wagon. If the door ajar still doesn't stop, than you need to remove this and replace it, or you can super glue it and forget about it.

Mini fuse (# 12 ) is a 7.5 amp fuse for the washer pump relay , rear washer pump relay in the fuse panel in the drivers end of the dash ( the fuse panel cover is visible with the drivers door open )

A four way speaker is one which has four different types of active elements, each one suited to a specific part of the audio spectrum. Thus, it would have a 'woofer' for low bass notes, a low midrange speaker, a high midrange speaker, and a 'tweeter' for very high frequencies. A 'cross over network' inside the speaker divides up the signal coming from the amplifier, and directs the different parts of the signal to the appropriate driver, or element.

Answer 1 Simply put, a relay of any kind is a remote switch controlled by another switch. Relays are usually used to control remote electrical devices which use heavy current [measured in Ampheres, or Amps]. A common example would be auxillary light systems added to a vehicle. The power supply wire would need to be very large to carry the needed current, and would have to be routed from the battery, into the passenger compartment to the instrument panel where a very heavy switch would be required. Instead, good practice is to route the heavy conductor[s] from the battery directly to the lights with a relay installed in between. Then a lighter switch would be installed in the instrument panel with wires from it to the relay. The lighter instrument panel switch and wires control the relay, which in turn controls the heavy current to the lights. This is only one example of the use of a relay. Some others are for powering high current devices such as power seats, power windows, auxilliary devices such as amplifiers, and other sound equipment. Also. to be sure that some circuits are turned off when the key is turned off, a relay will be installed between the "hot" when key is on terminal of the ignition switch to several smaller devices. Therefore, when the key is on, the devices will be "powered up," and when the key is off, they also will be powered down.j3h

I had this problem with a 99 Ranger. The DPFE is a rectangular unit about the size of a deck of cards, usually silver or black in color. It is located on top of the intake (mine was right in the center. It has a small vacuum hose on top and one on the bottom and a wire plug on the front. It is held on by 2 screws and takes only minutes to change. You clear the code by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. Hope this helps.

Your question was a little unclear, does the brakelight work when the headlights are off but not when they're on? If that's the case, it's a ground problem. Check the ground to the tail light/brake light assembly. If the brake lights don't work at all, check the turn signal switch. Brake lights are routed throug the turn signal so that you can use the same bulb for turn signal and brake light. BTW, if you have an air bag, don't attempt to replace or inspect the turn signal switch yourself. It can be very dangerous.

The nut is flattened to prevent it from working loose during driving. The left hand side has a left-hand thread so you need to rotate the nut clockwise (rotate right). It will take a bit of effort as you have to overcome the deformed portion of the nut. The right hand brake has a right-hand thread, so rotate the nut counter-clockwise (to the left) to remove. have your wheels balanced . if that doesnt fix it, check the u-joints

More than likely the tires are the issue, unless this happens when you are braking, then it is the front brake rotors. Tire problems are no joke, have them inspected even if it costs, its worth not being killed or killing someone else.
