The pressure switch is not matched properlly to the well tanks air pressure. In addition the pipe fitting that goes to the pressure switch is almost clogged shut, causing an erratic sense of water pressure signal being sent to the pressure switch.

If this problem has been going on for a while, it is possible that the submersible typw well pump has been short cycling and this may of caused over heating of the pumps motor. Over heating pump motors are thermally protected and will shut off, cool down and re-start.

How To Fix It ?, New pressure switch, clean the pipe fitting to the switch. Put air pressure in the empty well tank that is only 2 pounds less the the ON setting of the switch range you are using.

If the pump has been over heating for too long of a period of time, New well pump.

i think the sunfire drain is on the driverside of radiator facing forward. it should be a 1/4 inch hole in center. you have to turn and pull to drain. be careful not to damage plug or radiator.

First remove the fan troul(if on car), then the body shaft directly behind but still attached I think is a 7/8 crescent wrench will turn counter clockwise.The fan will then come apart from the water pump and you will figure it out from there if not theres something wrong.

I have used radiator stop leak before in my 1996 Olds Achieva SC with the V6. I put it directly into the coolant resovor. It went in fine for me. This did not give me much help though. I would not recommend using stop leak. It will clog your heater core and then you will have more than the radiator as your problem. Fine a new radiator and replace it that is the best advidce i can give you.

Check your heater hoses, that's where the water ciruclates into the heater from the water pump.

I'm not really sure what you mean but if you need to drain it and the tap on the bottom is stuck, undo the clamp on the lower hose and drain it into a pan. If you meant the core is clogged, you are pretty much out of luck. Try an autoparts store for radiator cleaning solution or mix 50/50 water and CLR. Do not leave this mix in there long because antifreeze is what lubricates the water pump and you will eventually burn it up by running anything else but antifreeze.

check radiator for small leaks or cooling lines which would most definitely cause it 2 steam when running after awhile
