Absolutely, carbon monoxide could be entering the vehicle due to a faulty exhaust system. Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas that causes headache, dizziness, nausea and can render the victim unconscious, it can also be fatal. The vehicle should be inspected asap, and not be driven unless absolutely necessary, if it is driven all the windows should be open. If a person has any of the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning it would be advisable to seek a medical evaluation.

Been there done that. If your talking about a standard tranny You can do this by taking your drivers side wheel off. You can do it with it on. Easier if off. Either way jack your car up on that side. This way you can get maximum fluid in your tranny. Block your car for saftey!!!(jackstands)I took a nut that fit in the filler plug on the end of the tranny and welded another bolt to it to make a wrench. Not sure what size would have to go look.Put a socket wrench on tool you made and take plug out. Go buy a liter of 80/90 oil preferably with a pointed nozzel to fit in the hole Squeeze bottle slowly and fill til fluid runs out. Let sit for a minute and squirt some more in . Do so until fluid is level to threaded hole. Reinsert the plug and get your leak fixed at the shop.

Look under the wheelwell,locate a round panel which can be removed by rotating it.You need skinny hands to remove the bulb.Try turning the wheel to the right to get more room .

1997 have the lt1. And the codes calls for a multiple misfire. Check your ignition stuff. If all else fails the its your optic spark.

The Anti Slip Regulator stops power to the wheels when they spin,

The asr is designed to be turned off only when you require the wheels to spin at low speed EG: when you are on snow or ice - as the asr will stop the power to the wheels if they start spinning you would never get anywhere, Over 20mph the asr is not active and serves no function.

This was the best answer I found. I searched the ASR on google and this was someone elses answer on another forum. There are more extensive answers as well.

I had a 1998 Jetta, but I don't remember if they had remote entry. If it does, buy a remote entry blank off of ebay. Then, go to the dealer with the VIN and proof of ownership and have them cut and program the key. If it doesn't have remote entry, just talk to a dealer. Like you said, your son has the "Valet" or "Sub Master" key. Take it to a Locksmith and he/she can cut your son a new master. Ilco blank# X203

Jetta is a compact family sized sedan, while the Mazda Rx8 is a sports car.

The camshaft sensor is located at the back of the head on driver side. Remove the wire,unscrew the sensor,screw the new sensor in the head and put the wire back on the sensor.Pretty easy job!

The camshaft sensor is not in the back on the 98 4 cyl its right in front. All you need to do is take off the 3 bolts on the top of the heat shield and pull it back a bit and it will be right there.

On my 03 f250 6 liter I can't remember which fuse it was but the prblem was the vacum pump on the passengers side front fender well. Had to find the fuse with a meter because the manual had it mis marked. AC worked but only blew out the defroster vents. "luck

Directly behind the driver's side headlight there is a relay that is clearly marked "111". Below the relay is a small, clear, plastic door that flips up. Under that door are two wires screwed to a junction, and connecting the two wires together is a crude fuse. That's it.

get spring compressor or rent 1 loosen front wheels located to big bolts at bottom of strut remove you will need a rubber mallet to hit the large bolts out of strut and hub assembly then remove 19mm bolt and coter pin from outter tie rod dont hit bolt from underneath hit strut w/ hammer til the tie rod loosens the go to under hood locate stut tower remove 3 13mm bolts remove strut apply spring compressor to spring compress the u will need to open end wrenchs to take top bolt off be carefully spring must be securly in compressor and compressed far enough down pull spring off place spring onto new strut tighten down top retaining bolt uncompress spring reverse order of steps when putting back in put top 3 bolts in strut tower first the put back larger hub/strut bolts the 19mm tie rod bolt w/ coter pin you will need a wheel alignment after you done chaning both struts

everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and a professional shop manual should be available at the library in the reference section--you can make copies of the necessary information...good luck :) It sounds way to easy to be true, but you just need to pull straight up, it does not twist off. Took me over an hour and a torn up shifter knob to figure that one out.

I called VW shop and they told me that it was under the battery. There's some that have 14 pins and some others 16pins. They're expensive!!
