It is located under the hood on the drivers side in the black "fuse - relay center" box. There should be la label under the plastic cover, if not it is the black relay closest to the firewall. The plastic cover has a a tab on the left and right side. Just push toward the center and lift to remove the cover.

It is at the front of the engine kind of high under the p/s pump.

The door panel will have to be off the door or such that the bottom can swing out enough to work in the door at the bottom. Remove the speaker. The motor can be seen to the left through the speaker mounting hole. There are three hex head machine screws that attach the motor to the lift mechanism. These are at the 3, 6, 9 clock positions of the motor drive housing. The heads are toward the car interior and are close to the metal of the door, and are almost impossible to remove without a straight ahead approach with a socket. Clearance holes large enough for the socket can be drilled with the right type metal bit or hole saw. Access can be cut with a cut off tool or a grinder with a narrow wheel. This is quick and easy and messy looking but will be out of sight when the door panel is replaced. The door strength will not be adversely affected with either method. Remove the three screws and through the speaker hole pull the motor toward the door interior and toward the speaker hole. Remove through the speaker hole. Installation of the replacement motor is just the reverse of removal.

Each brake line is held in place with a swivel nut at each end. Turn the swivel nut to the left. The brake line will come off.

Front doors- Inside pannels pop off. Unscrew the plastic pull handle then just start at the bottom and work your way up the sides popping the inside pannel off. with door open unscrew the latch and you will see 2 bolts holding the handle on the inside. Un bolt and replace. Really not much to it but hard to do because the bolts are hard to reach.

The light should stay on for quite a while. If they stay on without opening a door and they will not go out, then a door switched may be jammed or broke. The door switch is a little button that tells whether the door is open or not. The car may think that a door is still open. also you may have a problem in the headlight switch itself-make sure the dial for keeping the dome light on the headlight switch is`nt on You may have what I think Ford called "Opera Lighting" where after you shut the door, the light stays on for a few minutes, and then dims out.

Disconnect negative cable at battery. Remove the inside door trim panel, remove film watershield, remove the door window glass assembly by lowering the window all the way, remove inside door handle and rods, unplug electrical mirror and regulator wires, remove the glass stabilizer bolt, then the 2 window glass retainer bolts, lift out the window glass, then remove the 4 regulator assembly bolts and wiggle the regulator out thru the opening. Reassemble in reverse order. Buy a Haynes Repair Manual for about $15 and save yourself some anguish! YFC

there is small bracket that bolts on the back of the pump to the block some pumps are missing a stud for that bracket also check the big horse shoe bracket that bolts to the front of the block that all the asscesiories bolt to it could be cracked causing the bracket in question to break

While holding my foot on the accelerator, the idle was very smooth but as soon as I let up on the gas pedal the engine tachometer reading shown on the connected scantool would drop so low that the engine would stall. The symptoms were consistent with a defective iac valve, so I gave the iac valve a couple hits with the butt of a large screwdriver in an attempt to bring it back to life. Sure enough the symptoms disappeared and the engine idled as it should. The special ordered iac valve arrived a couple days later, and only required the removal of two bolts to install it."

There are hundreda of reasons for that. It is best to take your car to a garage(or them to you)for them to check it over.

If it begins and it hasn't been checked, it is best to in case it gets worse.

The most probable cause is stuck slider pins on the caliper holder. These can be fixed with heat if they wont come out. Put a bit of grease (thick grease) on each one before re-assembly. Also make sure that your pad retaining brackets are well greased and free of rust and road debris (dirt, dust etc.) so the pads can easily slide towards the rotor and then back away when the pedal is depressed and released. Old rubber brake hoses can crack internally. A flap of the hose material may allow fluid to apply the brakes but prevent the reverse flow of the fluid causing brake drag. If your brake lines are old you may wish to replace them. you need to rebuild the brake calipers Or buy a rebuilt one for $40 at NAPA or any other parts store. You can swap this yourself very easily, especially if you own a Haynes Repair Manual for Subaru Legacy. YFC

1.Lower corner on radiator facing engine you will find a plastic drain screw has 2 tabs hold twist counter clockwise to drain radiator ,or lower 3" hose can be removed but will drain very fast ,I use an old deep cat box to drain into . 2.Remove top half of fan scroud 2- top bolts and 2 -mid side bolts. 3.Remove upper radiator hose at raditor fold out of the way,remove lower raditor hose let hang not in the way. 4.Looking at van from front between radiator and fan left side there are 2 metal lines going into radiator these are transmission cooling lines remove with line wrench.I take a baggie and tie tie over end of lines for fluid drain catch. 5.Now look right side same area like trans lines if there are 2 lines this side remove they are oil cooler lines most dont have some do come with tow package." " 6.Now lean radiator twards fan unseat from bottom rubber lift left side 3-4 inches will come out left first. Hope this helps!!!

The Retained Accessory PWR BRKR (Power Window) is in the Driver's Side Instrument Panel Fuse Block. See page 6-63 of your "Owner's Manual", under Section 6: Service and Appearance Care - Electrical System - Fuses and Circuit Breakers.....

Should be a the top of the starter - follow the + battery cable should connect to solenoid

bad sunshell in trans...very common in the 4l60e transmission google it and you will see...GOOD LUCK

just press in the black tabs on either side of fuse box in the engine compartment. Lift up and you are done!
