Can you drive a vehicle with a damaged rear stabilizer bar?
Yes you can. Caution is advised as handling characteristics may have changed, particularly during cornering.
Depends on who you ask. I've had one and really liked it alot - repairs were rather expensive and my pet peeve was the 'dealer item only' for windshield wipers at $25 a pair. Otherwise, it was always fun to drive and had a comfortable drive. And having AWD was a huge bonus too, especially in the snow.

Where do you refill the transfer case with Dextron III fluid on a 1999 Suburban LT?
The fill plug is on th rear of the TC. Looks like an Allen wrench plug , but it uses a 1/4 inch ratcht drive. If it has any of the electric controls ( most likely it dose) DO NOT USE Dextron. You need to use dealer only purchase Auto-Trex fluid. $7.00 a quart for a complete exchange you will need 2 quarts. It will be a blue color fluid. The TC have plates in them ,like an auto Transmission, with paper thin coating that will be ruined if you use Dextron, making the TC worthless and nonfunctioning and void any warrenty.

Where are the hidden vin locations for SUBARU vehicles?
On my 1986 GL, the VIN is located under the windshield on the botton right if you are facing the front of the car from the outside. How do you replace aerial on subaru sw 1991?
Access from inside boot, remove rear liners (taking care to not break the plugs). You may also need to remove the plastic surrounds around the rear glass (these just pull off but interlock with the surrounding panels) which sucks but it can be tricky maneuvering a tool inside with zero visibility. Unscrew the nut and the aerial will lift straight out. Then just unplug the antenna lead (take care to not drop any washers down the body of the car. You'll never get them back)
How do you change a front blinker light on a Subaru Forester?
You have to pull out the indicator housing. Remove the screw at the top which secures it to the main headlamp housing. Then you have to get it out by pulling and levering it so that it comes out as straight as possible. There is a plastic lug lower down. If you twist too much it will snap, like one of mine did! Then when you replace the housing, it will wobble.
Good luck. This is the hardest bulb change I've ever done.
If you're having problems with your cruise control, I would suggest that you check into your Subaru's transmission and engine error codes to see what it's returning if anything. Many times the problem with the cruise can be diagnosed by the vehicle itself. The car will not allow the cruise control to function if it knows about a specific problem, which will be given in the error codes. I don't know what year subaru you have, but look into getting both the engine (check engine light) error codes and the transmission (power light) error codes on your Legacy to see what they're returning. My speed sensor was out on my Subaru. Once I found the problem in the error codes, I swapped it out and my cruise worked just great.
It is important to have diagrams on hand of a cars parts. A free wiring diagram of this car can be found in the cars maintenance manual, or at an auto shop as a print off.
Where is the oxygen sensor on a Subaru Impreza WRX?
One is in the exhaust manifold on the passenger side, the other is in the exhaust after the dowpipe.
No. Compression still occurs and the motor should be very , very hard, if at all possible to turn by hand without a great deal of leverage. Removing the spark plugs - and making sure it's in neutral (so your not trying to turn anything else or a locked transmission) would make it much easier.
What if the fuel pump on my 92 suburu loyale isn't pumping gas?
Then your fuel pump isn't working properly. Could be the pump itself or the wiring to it. If I recall, the pump is in the tank itself on that Loyale. Check the connections around the terminals where the pump gets power. If they're in good condition, the next step is to find out if it's actually the pump. Many people mistake pressure regulator issues as fuel pump problems and replace the wrong part. A mechanic's shop can check the fuel pressure in different sections of the system and see what part isn't working. Hope this helps you and your 'Ru. -Jon
