What is the Reason for power loss on a 2001 tdi vw bug?

My 2001 VW New Beetle TDI lost power and gas mileage at 110,000 miles. The problem was the Mass Air Flow Sensor. It is located on the the left side of the air filter box whey you face the engine with the hood open. A black plastic air tube fits into one side. An electrical connection clips into the middle, the right side slips into the air filter box. You need a screw driver to remove two screws from the side of the air filter box and pliars to squeeze the clamp holding the air tube. It can be ordered on e-bay for about $70 including shipping and takes about 10 minutes to install.

What is top speed for the summer toboggan on Mt Pilatus?

With the toboggan, the speed is controlled by the rider with the handle located between the rider's legs. If you let go of the handle the toboggan comes to a stop. I have included a link on this page called 'Pilatus Bahnen' which will take you to their website. You can find out information concerning prices and conditions there. There is no mention of the maximum speed on the site, just that if one gets caught speeding at the end of the run they will be barred. They included an email address, info@pilatus.ch on the page. You might try sending an email to them to see if they can answer your question.

Where is the radio antenna connection on a 2001 beetle?

There is a connection joint under the headliner near the antenna base on the roof, then a cable that runs toward the front of the car with an end near the radio unit itself

Why after buying the official volkwagen beetle tools to remove the radio when I put them in I can't pull the radio out What am I doing wrong?

You may not be inserting the clips in far enough. Press them in as far as they will go and then pull both sides simultaneously. Make sure you are not criss crossing the sides. If I remember right, there is a left clip and a right.

Does the left turn traffic signal operate by motion sensor?

No, you have to move the little lever on the side of the steering wheel.

Seriously, though, there are traffic signals that are on cyclical timers (going on and off in the same pattern endlessly), and others that are connected to sensor loops in the pavement. You can often see where the pavement has been cut with slots at two locations: one at the stopping point, and another at some distance from the intersection (e.g., where the left-turn lane starts).

More:

Traffic signal detectors check for the presence of cars, not their motion. There are two main kinds in use today.

1. Loop detector. These are giant versions of the metal detector you use to find quarters at the beach.

2. Television Detector. These are cameras mounted over the intersection and aimed at the approaches. They can monitor several lanes at a time. Optical recognition is used to recognize shapes.

Note that the signal with detectors changes when the street with the green runs out of cars, or when a preset maximum time expires.

If you are on the street with the red, there is nothing that you can do to make the green come faster. But if you creep up too far, you leave the detection zone, and the light will not change at all.

What is the Volvo 8700 bus top speed?

Most transit and motor coaches are goverened for 72 MPH. Believe me, that's fast enough in a rolling behemoth that weighs in at around 36,000 pounds and takes three football field lengths to stop.

Without a speed limiter obviously the vehicle will go much faster. A bus/coach has essentially a heavy truck engine mounted in a much lighter body with a much higher geared final drive because its not pulling the weight that the truck is. speeds of over 100 mph are attainable, here in the UK the documented top speed a coach has been clocked at is around 110 mph. It depends on power output and gearing. Volvos, scanias and the older AEC reliance coaches were among the quickest
