How do you replace the front turn signal on a 2002 Jetta?
The headlight assembly contains all the light bulbs on one piece of plastic, but not the turn signal. In order to get to the assembly, you need to remove the battery. Also, there are 2 black plastic covers held on by 4 screws. Remove those screws (philips) and the covers. Behind the headlight assembly you will see a large black piece of plasic with two metal bands over it on each side. These are hard to get off but push them off of the pastic, they snap in place so it can be hard and noisy when they unlatch. This will let you take off the backing of the main headlight. Right beside that backing is a long, rectangular backing that has a plastic snap at the top. You may need a screwdriver or a chisel to pry this latch off, but push down on the plastic latch and pull the backing off. The top of this housing has the turn signal. Pull the entire turn signal housing with the wires just an inch or so. Use a set of pliers to unplug the wiring from the bulb housing. Once that's done, pull the bulb housing out, undo the small metal latches on the side of the bulb, and pull the bulb out. You may need a set of pliers for that. Replace the bulb, the bulb assembly, and plug in the wiring assembly. Once again, pliers may be needed for that. Replace the plastic backing and the main headlight backing. .

When the air bag light is on the system has set a code(s) in the computer A scanning device can retrieve the code(s). The code(s) will give you a clue where the problem is. Many auto parts stores will read the code(s) from your vehicles computer for zip if you purchase the parts necessary to repair the vehicle from them.

I disagree there is a reset for the airbag module, as I will explain, however, it is true that the system has detected some kind of fault. It is our experience, that (some times)even if you fix the problem the light may not turn off. For example, if the error somehow simulated a crash sequence the error code will be reflected in the control module and the light will not clear. You need to go to a dealership or service station to have them look at this. If your air bag light is staying off after you've started your car (should illuminate for just a second or two), you need to have the system checked. Check the fuse chart in your manual. At least for '94 Dodge Caravan, if air bag light is on and the horn doesn't work, the problem is the clockspring. If the air bag light stays on and the rear window wiper doesn't work, it's fuse #13. Check this out before spending $$ at dealership.
Most of the time is caused by a bad clockspring or its connector for the air bag has come undone. It can be caused by a bad air bag cotrol unit, but this usually doesnt happen unless the bags have been deployed. Not always though. Hope this helps. if your stereo is no longer illuminated, sorry for your luck. these bulbs are inside the radio unit, and are soldered in place, if you are familiar with how to solder, you might be able to disassemble the radio, and replace them, but its probably less frustrating and time consuming to replace the stereo, with a new or aftermarket unit.

I have a Honda and never seen a TICS light on it (or any previous Honda I have had), perhaps you meant TCS light (which my current Honda and the 2 previous ones have).
The TCS light is the Traction Control System light and comes one when the computer detects that the wheels are losing traction on ice or snow, The wheel(s) that have lost traction are drive wheels that suddenly spin much faster than their opposite partner(s). To correct this the computer briefly automatically applies the brake on just this wheel(s) then releases the brake to see if traction is restored. The TCS light is on during each of these braking events.
This is an automatic system and should be allowed to do what it needs to do (i.e. do not brake yourself, which may trigger a skid) however if the light persists ease up on the gas a little to reduce the chance of losing traction on the ice and snow.
This is all explained in the user's manual. Traction Control Systems have become common on many makes of cars, not just Hondas.

Find the fuse panel and the SRS fuse, then examine it for burns. If it looks black or dark brown as if its burnt, then it needs replacing. If there isn't a fuse there, then you should probably buy one if you want your airbags working.
