use the key...manualy I didnt get a hood key with my 93.(re*&$%) You will have no choice but to go underneath the car and try to reach the latch. Somtimes you can see where the cable attaches. Use a screwdriver,pliers, or whatever to activate the lever. Move the lever in the same direction as the cable would and the hood should release.

If only one door does not lock/unlock you probably just need to change the actuator. It is located inside the door behind the panel. Sometimes it is mounted to the latch assembly.

Also at the same time the engine light came on, I had it check by an advanced auto computer check and they said it said heat sensor. What is this and does it have anything to do with the other problems?

In general, vapor lock is caused by engine heat getting to the carburator, fuel pump, intake manifold, or any other engine part that carries fuel. the evaporation point of gasoline is very low, and it doesn't take much heat to cause it. It has largely been done away with by the introduction of fuel injection. I am not sure what you should do about it, except call the MB dealer and ask them, or find a friendly MB mechanic and ask him/her. All he, she, or they can do is say "NO". You could also call "Click and Clack" on National Public Radio on Saturday AM and ask them. They are very funny and excellent, MIT-trained mechanics. How do you change a battery in a key fob?
For the 2000-GS300 you will need #000 Philips screwdriver, remove the small screw and pry the case open nearest the screw hole. The upper portion of the case has a strong snap like hook that holds it together. Its pretty hefty and seems to be the only way to open it. Inside you will find a module about the size of a quarter that has two more #000 Philips screws securing it. Remove them and under that cover you will find a CR1616 battery. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to lift the free edge of the battery and slide it out away from the retaining tabs.
For a Lexus IS 250 /AWD Key-less Entry Key FOB 2006 and newer:
1. Take out the mechanical key from your fob.
2. Put a flat head screwdriver into the inset space...just inside of the mechanical key slot....and gently turn/pry it. This will pry open the fob.
3. Remove the old battery and replace with a new Panasonic CR1632 battery..positive side facing up.
4. Replace the cover of the fob by first pressing on the bottom then the top (The top is the side where the mechanical key is inserted)
