Where is the mass air flow sensor located on a 98 Plymouth voyager?

This seems like an odd question.

Are you sure it's got one? Most Chrysler products use a speed/density system to calcuate airflow instead of using a MAF. If it has got one, it should be in the plastic intake duct somewhere between the air cleaner (air filter housing) and the throttle body.

How do you shut off the speed warning light on a 2005 VW Jetta?

To turn off the speed warning light on a 2005 VW Jetta, you will need to access the vehicle's settings or instrument cluster menu. From there, you can adjust or disable the speed warning feature. Refer to the owner's manual for specific instructions on how to navigate the settings menu.

Why do you hear a valve tap when you start your car when its cold?

Because the oil has settled to the bottom of engine, colder weather causes oil to thicken, and it takes a minute to circulate back up to the rest of the engine, causing a light lifter tapping sound. let it idle for a few minutes before driving.

If it persists after warm-up, you may need new lifters (and, possibly, a new cam) or an oil additive, although you need to consider the age of the engine, and the dealer's recommendations. I would not try to adjust lifters (if they are adjustable, which most are not), unless you have adjustable lifters and you can prove that the adjustment has drifted due to a loose nut. You can prove that by checking the torque on the nut and the range of quietness in the adjustment - one full turn is the normal range of adjustment - if you have a narrow range, put the adjustment back where it was. Please, consult the shop manual or a qualified mechanic before starting something like this.

Where is the horn fuse on a 2002 Mercedes Benz C320 None is listed on the fuse listing but it does not work?

The fuse for the horn is located in the driver side fuse box under the hood and if u have a fuse chart it's a 15 amp fuse and it goes in slot #43. If you don't have a chart if u r facing the driver side of the car and looking directly at the fuse box it's the fuse in the top left corner and it's a blue 15 amp fuse. The fuse underneath it should be a red 7.5 amp fuse. I hope this helps because it took me a while to figure it out.

Where is the crankshaft position sensor on a 94 Crown Victoria and how do you replace it?

The crank shaft position sensor is located on the lower portion of the timing cover to the left side of the crank pully if facing the engine. You will see a two wire harness that comes down around the a/c compressor that pluggs into the sensor. Remove the wire by squeezing the tab with your fingers and pulling away from the sensor. The sensor is held in by one eight mm bolt. After you remove the bolt twist and pull the sensor until it comes out of the hole. To install, reverse removal procedure.

Is it true that you cannot mix any antifreeze in a 2000 VW Beetle GLX 1.8 turbo except the VW antifreeze G12A8D that is only available from the dealer for 25 dollars?

Yes, you must use G12 type antifreeze which is similar to Dex-cool but they are not the same. But that doesn't mean you have to buy it from the dealer at $25. There may be other sources. PEAK® Global LifeTime™ claims to be a replacement for G12 but considering the importance of using the proper coolant, I would use only a G12 coolant.

How do you replace the crankshaft position sensor in a 97 Saturn SL1?

I have a Saturn SC2, it shouldn't be that much different. You're gonn need to jack your car up because you can only get to it from the bottom. It's goona be a feeling game, but the crankshaft sensor is right behind the starter. You can see from the top to get a good idea where it is and another way is to follow the positive battery wire to the stater. To change the sensor you're gonna need 10mm rachet, the bolt will be first just fit around, remember it's a feeling game, just loosen the bolt and pull up, the sensor going to ba attached to a green connector with a yellow wire and a purple wire, unhook and replace with new sensor. When I changed mine today, I noticed my sensor was cracked. Any questions feel free to reply.

How do you pump regular gas out of your Jetta VW TDI diesel without dropping the tank preferably using the car's own fuel pump?

Actually you can use the tank pump by filling the filter canister with diesel. This will allow the engine to start and idle. When idling (engine running condition) the in-tank pump comes on to continually transfer fuel from the tank to the filter. Their are five lines going into the fuel filter canister. The one in the 12 o'clock position nearest to and pointing to or from the firewall and perpendicular from the fire wall is the line from the fuel tank. The other four lines are feeds and return lines from the high pressure pump and injector manifold (both on the engine). Once you have removed the tank feed line you can extended it several feet with a tube bung and tubing. This will allow you to feed the gas/diesel mix to a fuel can. It took about 5 min to fill a 5 gal can. I also had to fill the fuel filter canister twice. I got 15 gallons out of the tank. I had the misfortune of filling 5 gallons of regular gas into an empty tank. Then I filled the remaining 10 gallons with diesel. It ran rough but I made it 20 miles home. Next day start seemed like it turned over for a long 30 seconds before running rough but I then made it 3 miles to the part store and back. Start from parts store when warm was not as long. I did not take it to dealer as I was sure the dealer would take advantage of the situation and may void my warranty. I was at 10k on a 2009 Jetta TDI. Now I am at 16.5K and my milage is up to 42mpg where as prior to putting the gas in I was at 38mpg. Mpg improvement contributed long break in for VW TDI's. Only parts replaced fuel filter, and oil change.u pretty well cant use the cars pump on diesel as the fuel pump delivers to the injectors.u can however buy a cheap electrical pump and connect that to the fuel line between the diesel pump and the tank and use that to mump out the gas. and a tip for u, a little gasoline in the diesel will not hurt the engine, it will actually clean your injectors and remove unwanted moisture as it burns with the diesel fuel in normal running of the engine.so dont even get concerned about cleaning out the tank and fuel lines

Why wont your open door alarm go off?

There is a broken or grounding wire in between the door and the car body. First my window controls wouldn't work - I moved the wiring boot between the door and the body and after doing so, the alarm and lights wouldn't go off until I moved it around some more. Either you have broken wires or the plastic insulation is worn on the wires and they are grounding on something.

How do you change the igniton switch in a 1985 ford truck?

Well let me say your going to have to drop the steering wheel to get to the switch. The actual switch is on top of the steering column. There is a steel rod that comes from your ignition down to it. Unhook that. Then unbolt the switch and replace. One thing I forgot to mention. When you drop the steering wheel, don't take it out of the fire wall. Just unbolt the cradel that holds it in place and let it rest on the seat. If your steering wheel doesn't come down far enough, put something on the seat to rest it on. GOOD LUCK! Ethan Tegtmeier.15 year old. I had to drop mine to get to my switch on my truck.
