I have a 93 Chevy Beretta and mine is located INSIDE my fuel tank so I would look there. in the fuel tank

If it's sliping while it's vibrating, it's low hydraulic pressure inside the transmission. Either low fluid level, a worn hydraulic pump, leaking o-rings or seals or a blocked filter. In any case, if it's acting that way, you'ver probably caused significant damage to the clutches, in which case you'll probably need a rebuild.

You can find a 2002 Explorer radio wiring diagram in the owner's manual. You can also find it at various auto stores in your area.

Is it not hot? Not blowing? Leaking coolant? Need more info to help you.

A standard torque converter always transmits the power through the fluid - even at crusing speed. This results in slippage and reduced effeciency. With a lock up torque converter clutch, once you are near crusing speed the clutch locks up the torque converter so that it rotates as a solid unit. If you need extra power - climbing a steep hill, etc it will unlock. As a result you have improved fuel mileage and less heat generated in the transmission. If you have a tach you will see the RPM drop about 200 ( more or less) when the clutch locks.

Buy a Haynes or Chilton manual and pray....

This is a fairly easy task to complete. First The original radio is the same size as a lot of different aftermarket radios. I never did this, but I changed an aftermarket radio for another in a 92 pathfinder. It is fairly easy to get behind the radio by removing the piece of plastic that is on the floor, and tat is just some screws and clips. You can also easily remove the trimming around the radio looking for the same steps. Once that is done, just remove the wires from the back of the radio, look for any srews on the front of the radio and try to slide it out. When you have a new radio, make sure you get the wireharese also for this vechical. Conect the harense to the wires that come with the new radio, and attach that to the clip that is in the pathfinder already. THis is were you have to read the instrctions that came with the radio since they have a few methods of holding them in, but generally it is a metal cage type of thing you slide into the old space the radio was in, bend a few tabs to hold that in, then slide the new radio in making sure to conect all the wires and the cable for the antena (an adaporter comes with the harnes that you will need to use so make sure that is conected all ready.) Once it is all conected and almost done, test it and make sureit works. Once it works finish it off by makeing sure the radio is locked into place and puttin the two pieces of trim back on. Please make sure youtake all safety precautions, like disconect the battery, and make sure all the wires are in good condition and all of this stuff Also sorry for the general instructions, but it should be enough to getyou through this.

sounds like you are having the same problem im having from what i heard there is 3 relays under the dash that you can switch to find out what is faulty so far i havent found it ....good luck

I noticed you said you already replaced the ignition switch. some cars have an adjustment for the push rod that connects from the ignition switch on the lower part of the steering colomn and the key switch on the upper half. Check to make sure this pushrod is not bent or damaged. You should also consider replacing the (upper key unit if this doesnt correct your problem). The push rod or the key switch(were you put the ignition key)are in my opinion the only two possibilitys. This is my best advise, good luck.

I took this apart and found no sensor on the overlow what so ever. Could it be located somwhere else? was this a change over year? At the bottom of the overflow can (where you fill it up).

Siphon most of the gas out of the tank. Raise car safely. Loosen tank straps and drop tank enough to disconnect fuel lines, electrical wires, and filler neck, then drop tank to the ground with the help of an assistant.Unscrew the metal retaining collar using a brass punch to avoid sparks then remove the fuel pump assembly. On an older models, I have replaced them with a good used one from a salvage yard for 75.00 vs new for $400.00. But that is your call.It is handy to have a good floor jack and some wood blocks to help in holding the tank while you remove the wires, hoses,etc. Reverse the procedure to install. The hour and minute button in mine are the tiny buttons under the volume knob. The one on the left is the hour and the one on the right is the minute. Just hold it down for a second and it will change.

There are a few reasons this could happen. One being that the temp sensor is not telling the fan to turn on. Another could be the fan itself is defective.Another could be the fan relay or the wiring to the fan. If someone has recently been under your hood they may have inadvertantly disturbed the connection at the plug where the fan connects. Have the fan itself tested before getting all complictaed. It could be a simple problem.

The rear speakers are 6"x9"

1)Look for a wet spot where the master cylinder connects to the brake booster. In most cars, this is where the the brake fluid usually leaks. The brake fluid will eat away the paint on the brake booster. If it is wet here, the master cylinder needs replacing. When the master cylinder is removed, you'll see that it is wet (should be dry) where it was connected to the booster. 2)Check all 4 brakes and look for wet spots on the calipers & wheel cylinders. Same things apply here. Replacement might be needed. 3)Check where the brake hoses/lines connect to the brakes.

If the freon is low the AC will not work. I would have it checked for a leak and then refill it. This can be done by getting the proper items needed at a part house of your choosing. If you take it to a dealer check for specials as they will get you for up to 100 dollars that only cost 8 dollars in fuids.

This happens occasionally on my '96 van, especially on uneven ground. Look at the very bottom of the lower slider. There is a small piece of metal which will pivot fore and aft. Push it in and the door should release and close. The metal piece is only about 1" X 1/4 " and is silver colored. Just keep trying to move all the little parts at the bottom of the slider and you'll eventually find the one that moves. Annie

If your rear brakes are locking up, it may be due to a leaking wheel cylinder or the shoes getting stuck against the dust plate.In case is the leaking wheel cylinder you will need a good flare wrench # 12, a pair of vise grip plyer - in case your brake line does not comes easy, the bolts that holds the wheel cylinder may be a German made one that will require a female torx ( E-8 ). A easy way to replace it requires a torx bit and a metric socket to remove the hub - it will give you some space to inset the new wheel cylinder. It may take a long time to do all the job and you may should consider taking the car to a garage. Good luck.
