maybe the carburator I had this problem on my 97 lincoln town car, turned out to be s crack in my intake manifold. once it was fixed..no problem.

There are several things that can cause your 2003 Mitsubishi Gallant speedometer not to work. The most common cause is a malfunctioning speedometer cable.

bad fuel injectors, bad timing, bad spark plugs and wires, clogged catalytic converter.

If it doesn't restart it could be charging system failure, fuel pump failure or timing belt failure (if equipped).

idle control valve is shot!!

I have a 94 Rodeo and am thinking its the same as your 93. The fuel filter is located onderneath the rear passenger side frame rail. It is very easy to get to. All you need is a 10mm socket/wrench and pliers for the clamps. Did mine last week and it was a breeze, just hate getting gas on me. Good Luck!!!!

I have a 95 Pathfinder and had a similar issue. The engine would cut out when coming to a stop or making a turn but was fine when giving it gas. I had a fuel system flush done (but not a new fuel filter) and it has been fine since.

Most likely you have a worn CV joint. It is usual to replace with a rebuilt assembly the entire affected driveaxle assembly which includes the CV joints. Auto parts stores sell rebuilt driveaxle assemblies with lifetime warranty (I cashed in on one once!) for about $90. Drew

Check the computer codes to see if there are any stored codes. It could be something as simple as a fuel filter or oxygen sensor or possibly a MAP sensor, EGR valve or possibly even burned valves.

I am going to take a guess here. I would think fuel pump problem or alternator problem. This is just from my experience with the same problems in cars I once had.

i had a dodge Dakota that did the same thing and it ended up being a fuel pump it ran fine for a few mins and then nothing replaced the fuel pump and it ran fine

Had the same problem with my Lincoln. . . . There is a lever that you can rev the engine up from under the hood, that needs to be adjusted to keep more gas going to the vehicle. This is what I did over a year ago and it's still working fine. The downfall is that since it's giving more gas, it obviously uses a bit more now. However, I had and have no $$ to take it to a mechanic to determine the heart of the problem and, like I said, it's worked fine for me for over a year now. It cut my gas mileage down so I get 3 mpg less now.

It could be idled too slowly. Newer cars can sense the extra load produced by the A/C and will speed up the engine.

check plugs,check resistance in your wires cap,rotor mounts to motor,trans.

fluids,lift it up rear wheels up

and look under it while its in drive shift it in/out of drive

be carefull!

Many things can cause an engine to run hot, make sure that the cooling system is full, that there are no leaks, make sure the cooling fan is operating properly, make sure that the there is nothing blocking air circulation thru the radiator fins, check for corrosion inside the radiator causing blockage and reduced cooling.

I've been trying to find that leak myself. I found that 2 fuel lines with loose hose clamps at the filter cannister, and also found a loose fuel filer. It is still leaking from bottom of cannister, I'll be removing it this weekend and fixing or replacing the fuel filter cannister.

your heat comes from your heater core which draws heat from your engine coolant so if you have no heat and the blower is still running then there is a coolant level problem as in none which then would cause the mottor to over heat and quick

most likely reason for any vehicle to perform under its natural ability when cold is simple. cold engine= thick oil + more friction + less horsepower. until an engine has reached its optimum temperature and oil is warm and not thick anymore, there will be alot more friction inside the engine making it harder for the car to run.

The timing marks for your 3.0 liter V-6 Ford Taurus can be found on the main pulley. The timing marks can also be found on the flywheel.
