I have 98 Malibu 3.1. Miss-fire cyl #5 started in 2004. Changed spark plugs and wires replaced injector 5. Problem seemed to be gone. Came back couple years later. have replaced wires and plugs switched coils and still miss-fire #5. I live with problem. Never dies and clears up after 5-10 min.
