the fan has a thermostat that is set to the manufactures specs. They usually set them pretty low, because of the increase in the use of aluminimun head. If they get to hot they can be warped. hope it helps. duboff I have the same problem - thermostat doesn't open and fans don't come on until temp gauge is at or lose to the L in normal (just before over-heating). What was the solution to this problem?

This is a relatively easy process; you should be able to replace both headlights within 15 minutes. And by the way, it's always a good idea to replace both light bulbs even if only one is burned out. Lights have a finite lifespan, and it's likely that your other light bulb will go out soon. Start by buying 9004 halogen bulbs. locate the back of the healight assembly in the engine compartment. There is a beige back up ring holding the light bulb in the headlight assembly. Turn the back up ring approximatley 90 degrees (1/4 turn) to the right. Pull the ring back along the wire. Grasp the plug assembly, and and pull the bulb (with wires attached) out of the headlight assmembly. To unplug the bulb, gently squeezing the black plastic static lock, and pull the plug assembly away from the lightbulb. Reverse the procedure to reinstall.

On the 2006+ model, aka Jetta V, it is located underneath the passenger side dash in the vehicle foot well. Here's how to remove it: 1. If you look under the dash there are two plastic screws (the big flat top kind). 2. Remove those screws and then pull down the foam cover that the screws were holding up, you will see a rectangle cover. 3. You may have to pull the foam away from other trim, but it is very flexible. 4. The rectangle cover has the word “OPEN -->.”. Slide it open in the direction of the arrow. 5. The filter can be easily removed by just pulling it down.

Normally, that means that you have held the key turned too long. the Jetta is designed to unlock the doors when you turn the key, but if you hold it turned too long it will open all the windows to allow any heat in the car to dissipate.

this is a rather difficult process and a repair/service manual is recommended. you have to take off the cover plate on the bottom of the transmission and then remove the plug. then u open the filler cap (under and to the left of your air box)and pour fluid into it until it overflows out of the plug. then put the plug back in and replace the gasket before reinstalling the cover plate. buy the gasket BEFORE you start!

Yes a 1991 Acura Integra does have a fuse for cruise control. The fuse can be found the in the engine compartment fuse box in the slot label 'cruise'.

You need to take the whole latch out and give it a good clean and oiling sounds like rust or corossion OS making it stick.

in the reservoir on the left side of the engine bay between the coolant tank and the washer fluid tank - it is a black tank with an yellow or orange top - use a large flat head screwdriver and unscrew the top. Add Pentosin CHF 11S Synthetic Hydraulic Fluid or equivalent - I heard that Valvoline synthetic power steering fluid will work.

Had the same problem with my GL. What I've heard is the back up blade in the shifting fork slips or falls out of line causing no contact when you shift into reverse. They have to replace reconnect thru transmission. 5 years without backup lights.

(2)if the vehicle has a rear bumper, carefully pry the bulb socket out of the bumper, then pull the bulb out of the socket.
