How do you replace the driver side window motor in a 2003 mini cooper s?
If it has stopped working, you bang it hard enough just above the speaker, it will start working again. I've had the same problem.
Need more info, but here is where to start. Does the window work by the master switch on the driver door? if yes and not the door itself then it is the door switch, do this in reverse try the door switch to see if it works by the door and not the master. if it does not work by both and all other windows work then it is most likely your window motor on that door. pull switch out and use jumper leads to power motor (positive and negative from a battery or jump box and touch one lead to each side of wires then reverse leads, one way should roll up and the other down. Sounds like this is the problem though. You need a new motor or sometimes they only come as a regulator with motor set.

Where is thelocation of power window safety relay for 1968 Lincoln Continental?
The window safety relay is located in the engine compartment, in the right(passenger) rear side along the fender apron. You should recognize it by the 3 wire connector.
How to replace the passenger side power window switch on a 2003 Toyota Sienna?
I believe the design of the 2003 Sienna interior is identical to that of the 2000 Sienna which I own. The switch module on the driver and passenger sides are affixed into the armrest in the same way. They have a plastic retaining tab on the underside aft end and a spring-loaded metal clip on the underside forward end. During installation, they are made to slide in rearward at the aft end and then drop/snap into the mounting opening downward from the front. Therefore, the removal process is the reverse; that is, release the metallic snap latch at the front end and lift the front of the switch module ... after the bottom of the switch module has cleared the top of the armrest, you can slide the module forward to release the plastic latch at the aft end and take the switch module out as a unit. Disconnecting the wire connector frees the module for further work. The problem is that the release point on the spring-loaded metallic clip at the forward end of the switch module is about 1/4" below the underside surface of the module; therefore, simply using a small flat screwdriver inserted under the lip of the module won't work, because it cannot engage the release mechanism, which is a bit below. What really works best is a paint-can opener (available from any Home Depot), since it has a bent end. Using a flat screwdriver to slightly lift the forward end of the switch module, and with the bent end of the paint can opener pointing downward, insert it under the lip of the module at its center. Pushing this makeshift tool rearward will allow the bent end of the paint can opener to release the metal retaining clip at the forward end of the switch module. You can then lift the forward end of the module as descried earlier. Hope this helps.
How do you replace a window motor on a 1995 camaro?
First, you will need alot of patience and a high tolerance for pain. Take out all the screws holding the inside door panel on. Pop the clips around all the edges, un-clip any electrical connections and pull the panel off. Secure the window with something so it doesn't fall and shatter (window should be all the way up).Now you will have to find the 3 rivets that hold the motor on. These will be behind the fiberglass part so you will need to drill fairly large holes in the fiberglass, then drill out the rivets. Remove the old motor and slap in the new one. You may use rivets again, or the screws supplied with the new motor. Once the new one has been installed, do not forget to lubricate all the slides and joints with some lithium grease or something similar. Close everything back up and hope the door panel goes back on properly.
It could be your window regulator.

Why is motor vechile theft a part one crime?
Motor vehicle theft is classified as a Part One crime because it involves the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Part One crimes typically include serious offenses that are reported to law enforcement and are tracked by the FBI's Uniform Crime Reporting program. This classification helps to prioritize law enforcement resources and identify trends in criminal activity.
How do you fix the power windows in a 2001 Grand Cherokee Larado?
I have a 2004 Jeep Cherokee. My driver's side window stopped working but I could still hear the motor turning. Two weeks later, the front passenger side window did the same thing. It turns out, I needed to replace the window regulator and motor (it comes as one piece). The mechanic told me it would be $250 per window to fix. He said the part would be about $200 for him to get and then $50 for labor. I went on eBAY and found the part for my front driver's side window, brand new, for $57. I ordered it and a friend and I installed it. She had done a window in a Honda before so, we went on her experience and then great instructions we got here: http://jeepin.com/features/wj_window_regulator/ We got it installed and it works great! I'm going to do my passenger side window next.
Your passenger side front window wont go down in your 2000 Plymouth breeze what could it be?
had same problem; check switch on driver side ., if it operates the passenger side ok, then just replace the driver side window switch .. $20 part from the dealer.
I have one possibility. If you are having lots of problems such windows, locks that sort of thing. Then you might have electronic control module that is going or gone bad. These control these sorts of things nowdays. Some makes call this the GEM module. It controls many things inside the vehicle. This is just a possibility though. Good luck.

How to remove driver door panel on 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix with electric locks and windows?
first you have to remove the two torx screws that are on the power lock and window switch panel then look under the hand-hold. you will see another screw there it is deeply recessed in my car it was a torx but too of my friends have the same car an theirs are phillips. my recomendation is to look with a flashlight to see which you have. then there are the screws that are on the side of the door itself two on the bottom left corner one on the bottom right and one on the left side. then you have to pop the door off the anchors that are inside. this is the hardest part because if you pull roughly you will break the panel so be careful and if you need more help go to autozone's website, register as a member and you can get a how to guide on how to do that. or you can go to autozone and buy a hanes book about all the repairs you need to do on your car and save lots of money later (that is what i did)
Completely remove the inside door panel. Since the window is down, the two screws that hold the window glass to the regulator should be easily acessable. Remove these two screws. Disconnect the regulator from the window glass. Push the window glass up to the very top. A bungy cord can be used to hold the glass up while the motor is being removed. Hook the bungy cord to the top of the door. Hook the other end to the bottom of the window glass.
