Yes, it will only leak if the seal is bad. Have you checked the drive belt? Squealing is normally a loose or worn drive belt. Yes, the timing belt is brand new which is where the water pump sits. And somewhere with in the timing belt area this noise is coming from and I am not sure what it is... it seems to sound like an alternate when the bearings in it are going bad but it has been replaced.. any other suggestions? ALSO it could be the belt tensioner, the bearings might be warn out and be causing the squealing noise. replacement is approx 100$ doing it yourself

The mass air flow sensor on a 1994 Pontiac Sunbird can be found between the throttle body and the air box duct. Some of the items needs to change the sensor are straight edge screwdriver, shop vac, and T-20 security bit driver.

It wont inject fuel. I jimmy riged the juel pump to bypass the relay. So the pump is on and it does get fuel up to the injector, but than it wont inject. I got a new injector i cleaned the lines. So i realized there was power coming from the red wire BUT it wont turn on so i decided to cut the blue wire and run it straight in to the ground. Now it injects but it seems like its flooding the motor. So what i am asking is either for a diagram on the 1990 Pontiac sunbird fuel injector diagram or instructions on how to fix the problem. Also when i got power to the injecter it blew a 30amp fuse so there is odvisly a problem.

on a 2.0 litre its located on the engine block on the forward side just aft of the main pulley.

serpentine is acually a belt that runs all your under the hood componets, alternator, power steering ect... this belt is very easy to change

not true, for most cars and trucks thats true but there are some that have 2 belts ones a serpentine the other is a V-belt, my 93 sunbird 2.0 has both, to answer your question just think of the first word in serpintine, serpin and in this case meaning snake or inperticular to coil like one, techniclly both are V-belts b ut serpintine is a differant type V-belt, the old V-belts just went straight around the pullys, serpintines wind all around, butch

1st. If you intend to do any work on this car at all you need tools and a good repair manual. Spend the $20.00 bucks for a manual at autozone and read read read.

Rotors need replaced?...(can be turned?)Pads?Fluid and what type?Proportioning valve problems?Spongy brakes? need new rubber lines?Vac boost working correctly?Bad calipers need rebuild?leaking fluid?bad leaking brake master cylinder?

If this work was completed by a pro could cost well over $500.00The Pro has the book that's the only dif.Get the book and read, buy the tools you need and save yourself 200.00-300.00 bucks?

It is of my opinion never buy autozone brakes get NAPA's best Pay the extra money and stop when you need it.

follow the washer lines and you will find it by the wiper motor. Look on the bottom of the fluid tank.You should see a black round cellender,that is the pump.Just pull it out and replace.

Possible bad or clogged EGR Valve. It might also be a bad Map sensor.

you'll need to check on the coil pack. The 4 (assuming you have a 4 cyl) outputs are numberd 1, 2, 3 and 4. The #1 would go to the #1 cylinder and vica versa. The #1 cylinder is the one closest to the cam sprocket.

Hey Heather==What is the bucket you speak of? Possibly it is the coolant recovery jar. Check all of the hoses and if it isn't leaking from the hoses and is shooting up out of the recovery jar you probably have blown head gasket. goodluckJoe

there is a single plug in the back of the unit. it has a yellow. orange brown black gray and a green wire. the orange seems to be the power. the yellow is possible a speaker wire. but with just the wires on the plug its difficult to tell whats a speaker wire versys a ground or switch wire. it also appears that there SHOULD BE ANOTHER PLUG. BUT I DIDNT SEE ANYTHING IN THE DASH. that would tounf out the nessasry wire to make a 4 speaker stereo

check compression you probably got it so hot that the piston rings are not sealing,you can put a couple squirts of oil in eash of the spark plug holes and see if compression raises

With the radio turned off, push the set button. The scan button changes the hours and the seek button changes the minutes.

I found out where it goes. Open your rad cap and just drop it in. I hope this helps someone else.

I'll assume you mean the gauge pod.....and not the dash pad. Proceed slowly and realize you are working with 19 year old plastic pieces. I've had mine apart many times. You'll need a 10 mm wrench, 3/8 ratchet with extension and 13mm socket, a 7 mm socket, a Phillips screwdriver and torx bit.....#15 I think....but not sure. First, remove the section under the steering column....it has clips and just pulls straight out. You will see several 7mm/torx screws that will need to come out. There are two that hold the panel to the right (stereo, heater), two that hold the air vent on the left side, and there will be one on each side that hold the small trim piece that runs around the clear dash panel. That trim piece also has two clips holding it in at the top part of the dash. Just use caution so you don't break it. The large panel to the right also has two 7mm screws near the console that will need to be removed, along with a 10mm nut on the right side towards the firewall. Now both the right and left side trim panels will pull right out. They do have a couple of clips so there will be some resistance. Each of the switches...Lights and wipers, has a Phillips screw on the bottom that will need to be removed. These switches are clipped into the plastic pods and are very stubborn. Hold the base while pulling on the switches. Otherwise you'll break the bases and will have to repair them....(found out the hard way). Unplug the wire harness to each switch. There are two torx screws holding those pod bases on. Remove them. Now you can get to the two upper 7mm/torx screws holding in the dash pod. There will be two on top, two on the bottom. Remove them. Before you can remove the dash pod, you'll need to lower the steering column for the clearance. There is a 13mm bolt on each side. Remove these and the column will drop. Now pull the pod straight out. Install is just the reverse. It sounds like a lot, but after you do it once, you can have it out in 10 minutes. I had a problem with the odometer on mine and have had to do it half a dozen times now. Good luck.

I have a 1989 sunbird with the 2.0 and under air cleaner on one of the intake runners is casted on there the firing order, not sure if there all like that, but you can start off looking there, if you don't have a Haynes manual.
