Insert the 2 little sliders that come with the new unit on each side and pull it out

Usually when the lights will not come on, you have to jostle the machine back and forth a bit till the transmission clicks into position. Some times it takes several attempts to get the shifter and transmission to accept the Park or neutral position. If that does not work, then I suspect that adjustment is needed. It appears to be normal for the position to be a bit tight.

Common cause could be a tire out of ballance or a bad tire, meaning the inside is separating. If your tire is out of balance the vibration you get will be at a particular speed usually over 45-50 mph, depends on how far out of balance the tire is. If you have a bad tire the vibration may start gradually then get worse as you speed up. Note: These are the common causes that I am famillar with. The best thing to do is take it to a mechanic to be checked.

the difference between the two is the interior and exterior accesories, the xlt has an upgraded interior and may have exterior items that are only available on the xlt and not on the xls

On the transmission

does the third brake light work? if not probably brake light switch but check the fuse first. if yes, there are thes really cheezey circuit boards in the tail light housings that go bad all the time. they look like plastic strips.

mite be a relay switch--inside a plastic box, maybe passenger side of the firewall under the hood.

If it is vibrating on the steering wheel, you may need an alignment. If it is vibrating at the tire area you may have a bent wheel or need to have your tires check, take it to any tire shop and they can test. I had the same problem and it was a bent wheel.

It means you need to read the owner's manual.

The fuse panel can have the wiring to the # 31 slot changed to one of the spare fuse slots which are undamaged in order to get your auxillary blower working. I'm not sure if the dealer does that kind of work but there are shops that specialize in auto electric systems.

A malfunction has been detected - could be a sensor

The windshield wiper switch is broken which is located on the windshield wiper motor. You need to replace the whole motor to fix this.

1998?? I have a 2000 but mine done the same thing I would have to stop and cut it off for a few min and it would do ok for a little while,but my dad changed the fuel filter only took him a few min and cost about $7 and problem is solved..hope this helps for the 1998

If you mean a high-pitched screeching or whistling or zipping sound, they're probably slipping. New brake pads?

It's not designed to have 3 row seating , that wasn't available until the 2002 - 4 door

Try cleaning the MAF with a can of elecrical cleaner. then clear the code with a OBD11 tester.

I am assuming you have an automatic transmission in your 1991 Honda? The 'vibration' you describe is likely due to worn motor mounts/shock absorbers. These Hondas have three different motor mount brackets, each of which has a rubber vibration-isolating bumper in the mounting assembly. I replaced the ones in my 1992 Accord EX (auto transmission) and it definitely solved the problem. It's not as big a problem to fix as it may sound like, but may not be something you want to tackle by yourself if your are not mechanically-inclined. These parts, from HOnda, will be extremely pricey. I purchased my motor mount brackets by searching on eBay, and saved a considereable sum of money, and I coulnd't see any appreciable difference in quality. Check the engine and transmission mounts.

if it is hard to press on the brakes it usually indicates that you have a malfunctioning brake booster. Since brake boosters are vacuum assisted, it could also be that you have a disconnected vacuum hose or a leaking hose.

On the driver's side of the engine, lower down on the side of the engine block, just in front of the transmission.
