yes but check your fluid if the abs is not functioning it will not pulsate the pedal to [prevent lock up if you stomp on the pedal (brake) abs prevents lock up!

It might be a leak or hole in vacuum hose. As you increase RPM by pushing the gas pedal, pressure builds in the hoses making a whistling sound (e.g., 65 mph, high idle). High pressure goes down when you release, and the sound goes away. Have someone hold the idle high so you can locate the leak. Also many high flow air intake systems and some stock air intakes make a whistling noise at higher engine speeds. This can be checked by slightly reving the engine while someone listens to the air intake. P.S. Check the breather hose to the PCV valve and the PCV valve itself. Is it stuck? does your engine have a turbo? a turbo working properly , whisltes. if no turbo, you have an air leak, most likely in intake manifold

If you can add a injector cleaner and it bandaids the problem temporarily it may be because your vehicle's fuel filter is becoming plugged which will cause a lean condition. Also the O2 sensor (Oxygen sensor) may need replacing. Both items can cause a lean condtion which will show up as a surge or bucking. MM

there should be 2 hoses going into that firewall for the heater core, it is probably bad. find the 2 hoses and connect them together until you can repair the heater core, at least it will be driveable. one end of the hose attaches to where the top radiator hose connects to the motor, and the other end is on the water pump towards the bottom of the opposite side.

Check your brake fluid level in the master cylinder... you may have a leak some where

If it was ordered with it, yes.

The cable or the vent door is probably binding. Take out the control panel first to see if the problem is there, then trace the cable down and see if you can manually move the vent door. If not, you may have to take the duct apart or replace it. I would suggest disconnecting the battery for a half hour before working on this so you don't accidently set off the air bags.

There are several things to check most of the time you will need to replace the catalitic converter, this is common enough that the dealer still stocks the parts, also the upstream and down stream sensors must be calibrated after you replace the cat. BE VERY CAREFUL not to confuse the o2 sensors when thay are removed, Fuel Supply - Looks for poor feedback control in rich direction Could be O2 sensors - cat converter - or backfire caused - clear the error code and note if it recurs when a backfire or other exhaust event occurs. If a backfire or exhaust event causes the problem you need to fix the engine timing or other problem causing the back fire - a cat converter or O2 sensor can cause backfire.

There are two catalytic convertors on this model.

Did you try turning the dimmer switch to a lower setting, sometimes the dome light will stay on even if the door is closed if the switch is set to high. But if the dimmer switch is set propertly, and the light remains on for a few minutes, the problem is most probably a defective relay. There are 3 relays on my 97 Ford Ranger, and I have not found out which controls the light. The relays cost too much just to buy 3 of them.

If tou have tried dimmer switch and that did not work try using wd 40 on the the latches. The interior lights stay on until the switch in the door is cleaned and lubed. The switch is within door latches on for ranger. !

Engines SHOULD idle a little faster during startup, but if it's always idling fast, check for vacuum leaks. Make sure the EGR valve isn't leaking as well.

on the rear of the transmission it has a single bolt holding it in, and usually has a + symbol on it.

try checking your spark plugs. Or the ignition coils, especially after a heavy rain. Buy an ODB II scanner (as low as $40, you will likely get a cylinder misfire code)

Could it be the hazard lights?

It's absoultly NOT the hazard lights. It is some kind of warning indicator. In my van (2003 Toyota Sienna) it is beside the ABS indicator, and besides that, the hazard lights are facing away from each other. If anyone has an owner's manuel please look. I've lost mine.

I have the manual but its in Japanese from which I cant understand a word. Its number 17 in the list of lights that's all I see. I also have this problem.It started yesterday and I have no clue how to fix it. It goes off sometimes and comes on after a while. Could it have anything t5o do with the temperature? Its been cold lately (2degrees).....I agree with the person below...My Toyota sprinter has the same light and it was the tire pressure...i refilled the air in all and found 1 was extremely low....all fixed now:)

I found my answer. I have the 2003 Sienna. The indicator is a tire pressure light. There was a nail found in a tire. The nail was removed, the tire was patched the light is now off.

Have the steering gear adjusted; the gear may have too much play in it. After that is looked at, a steering stabilizer may be added to reduce the amount of wandering . I hope this helps you, Mark = *One thing else to check is the wheel bearings. Jack up the front end/ grab tire at 9 and 3 oclock and try to wiggle it. If theres alot of play...have the bearings checked by a service tech.

Either the dealer or a wrecking yard. If a chrome dipstick is acceptable, you can often get them in cataloges and performance shops.

Buy or borrow a VAG-COM, or get your dealer to change the programming for you.

There could be several reasons. Under normal operation, the vehicle will experience this as the coolant heats up and expands into the over flow. A bad water pump, low level of coolant, as well as a clogged radiator could also cause this problem.

Both the rear windows on my 92 Caprice came off the tracks if you tried to lower them. This was apparently a design defect in this model as I know of many others that did the exact same thing. You have to remove the door panel to do this which is a royal pain in the butt. I practiced on a junkyard car to learn how but it is not something I can explain easily. MY rule with those model Caprice cars is NEVER to lower the rear windows. vbdenny

In the 1994 2.0L engine sunbirds, the VSS is located above the passenger's side drive axle, I would imagine the location is the same for a 3.1.
