The traction light is on becasue there is no communication between the traction control and the ABS. You will need to check the ABS sensor which is probably damaged or need cleaning. The spanner light normally means go to workshop as there are some problems with the engine electric. The spanner light could be on because the traction light is on. Once the traction issue is sorted, the light should come on automatically. If the spanner light is on on its own or has been on before the traction light then probably the oxygen sensor needs changing.

Sounds like something with alarm discharged battery.

Probably the security passlock system (chip in key system). Check for the security light on the dash. If it is you have to go to the dealer get it repaired & reprogramed, approx $600.00. Dealer specific computer needed.

need new starter or solenoid or starter relay. check the small wire on the lock clyinder and key is probely broken set of the securty system.

You don't fix it, you replace it. Replace the belt according to the schedule in your owner's manual. If it breaks and your engine is an interference engine, you will 95% of the time have damage. You will know the extent of the damage when the engine is torn down. ---------- Saturns do not have a timing belt, they have a chain, as stated in the question. Symptoms of bent valve will show on a leakdown test or engine simply will not run.

That would be your starter. Get a used one at a wrecking yard if the new is too expensive. They are plentiful for Cavaliers and used works just as good as new. Wrecking yard. Before you go and buy a new starter/used starter and change it... check the battery for a good charge... If the battery is low it could cause the starter solenoid to hop. This hopping would also sound like a turn signal. If the battery charge is good then I would agree it is a starter solenoid.

This is America and people sue over everything, unfortunately. Why not just turn in the car. YOu signed an agreement and reneged on that agreement so be a big person and turn it in. Then you dont have to look over your shoulder everyday. Yes, they can, turn it over to the prosecutors office, then you will owe even more money because they will sue you for the cost of the PI and for the cost of court fees and any extra charges they incur from tracking the car down. Take care of this now and you will be better off.

Injected vehicles do not spray extra fuel when you pump them so that won't help. With the assistance of a friend, one person should attempt to start the engine while the other sprays a little starter fluid into the intake. You might have to remove the cover from the air filter to do this. If the engine attempts to start while you are spraying starter fluid, but stops when you quit, you probably have a fuel delivery problem. It might be fuel pump, fuel filter, injector (if you have a single injector in the throttle body) or something else associated with the fuel system. Any time an engine won't start, always return to the basics: fuel, spark and compression. If it starts when you spray starter fluid but shuts down when you stop,it's a fuel delivery problem. If you check for a spark and there isn't one, you need to find out what's wrong with the ignition. If both of the above check out ok, check the compression. It doesn't matter if the vehicle is injected or carburated, the above ALWAYS holds true.

i am a land rover master tech,the first thing to do is make shure you have a good battery.test the fuel pressure and if there is no fuel pressure the fuel pump will take out the crank sensor leavig vehicle with no spark. so if you have good fuel pressure and no spark it sound like your crank sensor is bad.common problem. i hope i was able to help you.

Milky oil is an indication a water in the oil. Could be from a failed headgasket, a leaking oil cooler, ir a malfunctioning pcv system. Continuing to drive that vehicle in that condition will do serious damage to the internal parts and shorten the life of the engine greatly.

The computer has detected a problem with the ABS ( Anti-lock Brake System ).

Replace it.
