Your heater core is plugged up....check the two smaller water hoses that come off your water pump. if one is hot to the touch,and one is noticably cooler to the touch, then theres your problem....and it is an absolute bear to change. Go to Google Search and type Back flush heater core 2000 dodge durango. Follow the directions you will find there. It's not that difficult to do.

For a 1999 Dakota 2wd, the best socket to use is a six point 35mm, or a 1 3/8 sae.

I have used a 36mm six point successfully, but the 35mm is a better fit.

Most likely the whole fuel pump. in 01' it's all one unit.

sounds like an electrical problem, try replacing the cam position sensorand check the coils

There is timing mark on drivers side of the engine on the front by the crank pulley. There is another mark on the balancer for zero. Take out the #1 spark plug which is the drivers front plug. Unplug the coil wire from the Distributer and have someone bump the engine with starter watch to line up the marks. Put your finger over the spark plug hole, you should feel the air on pushing on your finger on compression stroke. Once you feel that then and line the marks up you at TDC.

i believe the front speakers are 6.5 and the rear door speakers are 5.25 unless its the new body style then i have no clue

I believe the only way to "turn off" Java would be to uninstall it. If you are using Windows you will need to go to Add/Remove Programs or if using a Mac you will need to find Java in Applications and move to the trash.

Drain coolant. loosen water pump pulley bolts and remove serpentine belt. ON V6 ENGINES, unbolt and move thhe power steering pump bracket

*You will need to remove the bottom coil, or in some cases, all three coils, including the tray they sit on in order to reach the top bolt of the power steering pump bracket. You should number or tag each coil and wire at this time to prevent a mixup during installation.*

remove hoses from the pump. remove water pump pulley and unbolt the pump.It may be necessary to tap the pump with a soft face hammer to break the gasket seal. ON V8 ENGINES. remove the fan. remove all hoses from the water pump.disconnect the coolant temp sensor from the pum and unclip the wire harness from the 2 clips on the faceplate of the water pump.unbolt the ign coil bracket and move it out of the way. unbolt the air pump which is below the coil.remove 2 bolts that hold the air pump bracket and move it over.remove the 6 bolts holding the pump to the block. If neccessary, tap with soft face hammer to break gasket seal. INSTALLATION.clean the gasket contact surfaces. place gasket sealer on the new gasket an place it on the pump. on V8s you should replace the o ring on the spline at the engine block end and dont force the new pump over them. .place pump in position and finger tighten bolts in place, careful to not move the pump gaskets. replace any brakets that were removed. the rest is just the reversal of removal. Add coolant and check for leaks.

Unfotunatly you will need to replace the full latch mechanism to rectify the fault.

What was included on my 1995 Explorer XLT with the trailer towing package was a " trailer tow jumper wiring harness" The part # is (F57B-13A576-A) It is 3 feet long with a flat connector on one end that has 4 wires white for male pin/green,yellow,black for female connections. The other end which plugs into the Explorer is round with 4 pins on one side (white,green,yellow, black wires) and 4 sockets. Ford refers to it as an 8 circuit connector.

If you follow the shifter down to the bottom of your Durango, you will see that the "C" clip that holds that shifter to a transition bar that goes back to the gear case has fallen off. The bar should still be dangling there and you can replace the clip. (hopefully) Gene
